Sorry, for this cheesy Author's note, but Hurrrrr we go.

Katelyn, babe, you're amazing. And I probably would've stopped writing if it weren't for your stupid ass comments. :) Thanks for telling me how to start this Chapter. What would I do without my best friend?

P.S. I would love to see your face when you read this. c;

"Wait! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" A familiar voice strains behind me.

I wipe my cheeks swiftly before turning around to face him.

"Yes you did. You wanted to hurt me. You thought it would make you feel better, but in reality in made you feel worse. I know."

His eyes flickered under the amount of pressure that statement put him under.

"H-How did you know that?"

I simply just shrug my shoulders, "I understand what's going on."

My breathing shudders as he lifts his thumb up to wipe a couple more tears that managed to escape. I had waited weeks for him to touch me, but it's not at all what I wanted. I wanted to feel the love oozing from his skin like I did when I was Megan, but he just couldn't do that.

"Would you do me a favor?" I whisper  afraid to disturb the silence.

He doesn't answer.

"Eat something. Seriously. When was the last time you ate real food? A nice home cooked meal?"

He chuckles a bit, "Not before I met Megan. I mean she'd cook, but it wasn't nice. Not to anybody." His light laughter began to turn into a huge fit of crying and choking.

I couldn't help but wrap my arms around the mess of a man standing in front of me.

"You hug like she did." He sobs into my shoulder.

"I know, Liam. I know." My lips gently graze his forehead, but he didn't back away like I thought he would. Instead he smiles a bit.

"I've missed being kissed so much."

I might be imagining it, but I swear my heart literally just cracked inside of my chest. The pain blistering there was unbearable.

"Emily? Do you wanna come over? I-I can cook us dinner, if you like?"

It all seemed kind of rushed and insincere. In fact, I bet it was Maddie messing with everything again, but I couldn't help myself. All I've wanted for so long is to hear those words come from his mouth and now that he's said them I had to say,

"I can't... you, you don't mean it. You're just lonely. Feeling unloved."

He doesn't respond. He doesn't even look me in the eyes.

"I have to go. Tell Gen I said bye, and I'll see her soon."

I somehow manage to untangle myself from the almost nonexistent limbs cascading around my body.

Okay, that hurt. It hurt a lot, but I didn't want to love him so unconditionally and not get it back in return, and you may see that as selfish but until you're in my situation don't say anything.

The midday sun bursts its way through my window and into my crud-infested eyes. I haven't slept this long since I've been Emily.

"I thought you'd never wake up. Your phone is going full on crazy with messages." Maddie sighs, sitting in the chair on the other side of the room.
