6. Surround yourself...

  Surround yourself with people who truly love you for who you are. You‘ll know them when you meet them. The ones who dig you out of that hole, instead of digging deeper. If you surround yourself with happy people that include you, you will be happy too. Everyone has aquaintences, start hanging out with some of them, get to know them better. You‘d be surprised, they could end up being your best friend.

I recently started hanging out with a sort of friend, that i knew since grade 9, and she has become my best friend. She‘s struggled with depression too, so we help each other out. I feel much happier.

A/N I haven‘t added to this in a while, but i‘ve just been having a hard time dealing with everything lately. My ex and I trying and failing to stay friends, the death of my uncle today...it‘s all a little much. I‘m grieving, but i know i‘m going to be okay, now that i have friends who can pick me up off my feet. RIP Uncle Harry, always in my heart. Godspeed
