MARRIAGE VOWS

Aariz's POV

"Yes No worry, Thank you. Just keep track on him. " I declared dubious.

A tall lean man looked doubtful but with a nod left. He talked with some of his batch mate as they continued to speak for some while.

My eyes weren't leaving from small kid suspiciously: who had recently did the joke to break our window - in the middle of night.

Shehryar sighed, raked his hand in his already messy hair. "Stay quite for now..... I mean if there would have something then why this boy would come and admit his mistake. It was a coincidence, but please now let him free. He's to small for all this investigation shit." He whispered making me look at him, and further comprehend with sober face: keeping up his act.

I raised a brow, but soon understood his trick.

My eyes again went towards the small kid, who stared back innocently. We were in our nearby security department. One of inspector had asked me before and now was throwing questions at him, to get any clue.

The kid looks like he belong from some poor background. His clothes were tattered and face covered with dust patches. Over all, he looked worn out.

My concern was not his attire but my six sense was telling me there's something else. Like, it sound so unusual, that some random kid broke your window in the middle of night, and out of nowhere. That at least: it would be more convincing, if they were playing. But no; and the more of it, where my suspicious mind got the best out of me - there was no brick or something.

So where did he picked that thing and out of blue lashed out. The only mean is, their's must be something fishy or maybe someone asked him to do.

"But who?" well I'm working my brain on it.

I got a call from Ali saying 'They've seen a kid throwing brick, when they were talking on terrace. And they have got him, so I should get down.'

I remembered the look on Amna's face. She was reading my face. But I was thinking something else, that I'm sure she must would be thinking that I'm hiding something. But it was the matter for later to clear up. First, I want to atleast breath in relief, that their is nothing to worry. Because this thing seems so surreal, fabricated. I would have been convinced, if it would have happened only for one time. It would be easy to ignore. But after multiple attempt, it was clear that its not a thing to ignore and their's someone behind it.

"Sherry, what if someone give him money to do it, we should not let it slide easily. " I coaxed meaningful while scratching my light beard thoughtfully. "We can consider it, but maybe with our meaning. You can see they'll not pressure him. " He whispered while giving me a sly look, and I instantly understood his look.

Nodding his way I wanders towards inspector Jalal, "I think he's not the real one so we should end it, and call it a night" I said professionally. The tall tan man breathed in relief : had jet black heavy hair and eyebrows, his minimum eyes covered beneath his heavy brows - making him look intimidating and tired.

"Poor guy! Had to come at this late hour of night."

We knew each other for a long while now. I had took help from him once, and also because we used to meet at nearby cafe. He nodded and freed the kid, who prompty sprinted outside the door.
