Hinata:ANBU Naruto:ANBU (OFF HIATUS)

1.10-Blood...

Naruto awoke in what seemed to have been his old bedroom back in Kakashi's house.

The gray walls.

Two plain white twin beds for Hinata and him.

Two dressers.

A empty fish tank.

Am I dreamin? Cause if I am... I never want to leave. All we are missing is the homey aura, Hinata and Kakashi.

Naruto pinched himself. Didn't feel anything, but that could be because he was incredibly impregnable when it came to his body. (meaning he is invincible to a lot of attacks)

So, Naruto took out a kunai from his weapons pouch and sliced his hand. He decided that if he saw blood come out he would not be dreaming. And blood came and spilled out on to the blankets.

Naruto shrugged as he just watched the blood pour out of his hand.

Pretty...

Wait, what? Stupid fox get out of my head!

The liking for the blood disappeared and was replaced with nothingness. So he just stared.

Man, I'm messed up.

He was so caught up with everything he didn't realize the door opening revealing Kakashi who was holding a kunai.

"Naruto? What are you doing? Why are you bleeding?" Kakashi walked over to the boy and took his bloody hand.

"Oh! Kakashi Sensei! It's alright! My hand slipped and got cut by my Kunai, ya know!!? Nothing to worry about." Naruto removed his hand from Kakashis and slowly, but nervously started to tense up.

"It looks like you lost like a gallon of blood or something. Just let me check it. With your skinny body I doubt there is even that much blood left." His sensei explained taking his hand again. He didn't mention how bad of a liar Naruto was, anyone could tell he was lying just now.

Naruto sighed.

If only you knew Kakashi, If only everybody knew...

In the end, Naruto ended up getting stiches from Kakashi and his hand gauzed. Everything was covered from his wrist up except his fingertips. They then moved to the living room.

Though Kakashi led the way there, Naruto could have easily led Kakashi to the living room as well, if he wanted to.

Naruto kept staring at his hand as if it was a nuisance. And making weird faces to add on to his strange aura he was producing.

Kakashi simply observed what Naruto was doing. Completely suspicious on how Naruto got out of the ropes as if they were nothing earlier in the evening.

He even checked the ropes to see if they had been old or rusty, but he just ripped through freshly new ropes.

My ropes... Was his first thought after kicking the three old drunkees butts. He then brought Naruto here and it was currently 11 at night.

"How did you know I was bleeding?" Naruto asked. Though he already knew.

I mean, he should know considering he is an ANBU Captain. He should know every single secret about every single person that sets foot in to the Village.

Might sound creepy, but it's his job.

"I thought you would have asked that. I have a tracking ability that enhances my sense of smell and I could smell your blood from my room." Kakashi answered Naruto.

"Want some tea? It would only take a few minutes."

"Sure..." Naruto answered.

Now's my chance to run! If I get to the door quietly I can go back to my house and focus on protecting and keeping watch on Sauske.

He could just Shunshin out of there, but where's the fun in that. And so, as he heard Kakashi getting the kettle and everything set up he carefully crept to the door. He was on the last step to reach the mudroom and the front door when his foot hit a spot in the stairs to where it creaked.

"Naruto? Why are you over there?" Kakashi asked as he exited the Kitchen only to see Naruto quietly going towards the door.

"Oh! Sensei! I uh thought I heard a knock on the door! Yeah, a knock so I went to go see who it was!" Naruto said as he opened the door only to close it when nobody was there.

He then walked over to the couch and sat down in front of Kakashi.

I should have used the window...

"So, Naruto. Care to explain what happened this evening?"

The scene with the blood is foreshadowing something. Just saying.
