A friend once told me that everyone is broken it's a way that we connect as humans, spending our life's trying to impress people so that one day we may leave a legacy behind. I've learned from my past that people are not who they say they are, hide behind the messages they constantly sending your way. They make themselves look better but constantly sending you hate. I grew up with this, all the body shaming because of weight, the outcasting that came with being different, of course the harmful words that come from people who need to feel empowered.
I was called fat so I stoped eating. I was always the one that no one wanted to hangout with. And I was always the one who was targeted on the internet because of the brave face that I put on everyday.
Life is not easy but your life was nothing compared to ours, we don't hide behind the screens of our phones and honestly we do not care about you anymore. Life is constantly evolving and now the future that you predicted for me is actually your reality. The friends that you tired to set astray or the lies you told those to make them stay away. Life moves on, that amazing friend that taught me about humanity is still by my side today. Then bond that we had was broken but so were we, changing the past isn't an option but we made our own history. Relationships with people are not always what they seem. However, I should probably thank you for everything you did since our relationship has never been better. This friend isn't one ill willingly lose nor will I let someone choose. She is strong, smart, kind, not only a friend but family of mine. She's the type of friend that you can grow old with, the type to bail you out in troubling situations and the one I can't bare to lose. Life goes on, and because of you I have the person in my life that I'll cherish till the end of time.
