Chesa viewed her avatar's death at the hands of Derek. She clenched her left fist, that she could have punched her rival. Ewan ko lang kung sinuwerte lang siya, o may sinuhulan yata sa'min dito?

Good thing, that the bastard's lucky as he's on the other booth. If she did that, the organizers will ban her from joining any official Call'field tournaments in the country for a year.

She grumbled at her teammates, “May nang-co-comsat ba dito, ha?”

"Triniple-kill niya tayo! Para bang may taga-ritong nagtuturo ha!” Chesa's nostrils flared up.

Ren and Arnold peeked at her, as Bernardo and Carlos exchanged gunfire against Derek's own snipers.

“Wala ah!” Arnold shrugged his shoulders, “Baka si Ren yun, bespren niya yata kalaban natin eh?”

Chesa stared at Ren. She shouted at him, “Yung totoo Rene-boy, magka-sabwat kayo ni Derek ano?”

Ren gasped, “H-hindi ah!”

He turned away from her, then he resumed playing the game.

Chesa flew her left hand over her keyboard, ready for another chance. Her body warmed up, that the cold air failed drying her sweaty wrists. As she pressed the left mouse button, her father's dominating voice roared inside of her head. Bleh! The same litany about online gaming again...

She has to prove to her parents that at least one game netted her some money. If this game flopped, she'll be grounded from gaming in and outside of her house, except weekends for the whole year. All she said to her head, Mark my words, papa! May mauuwi rin akong pera galing dito!

Chesa, Ren, and Arnold appeared inside the large, rusty hangar. Still foggy as usual, and the rhythm of gunfire echoed around the battlefield. In light of their in-game deaths, their weapons reloaded to full ammo for some ass-kicking!

“Lipat muna kayo ng pwesto! Makakabisado na kayo ng cheater na'yun!” Chesa radioed Bernardo and Carlos, as she brought out her submachine gun.

She dashed to a car nearest to the air control tower for cover. Malamang, hawak pa ng kumag na'yon ang sniper niya! She clicked her tongue, then pitched a flashbang toward a tower. A sudden white light flashed in mid-air, then she heard Derek's grunt.

Chesa sprinted to the air control tower, then sprayed Derek's back with 9 rounds. One of her shots pierced through Derek's head. “Ano, lalaban ka pa?“

One point added for Chesa, and Tejeros Triggers regained their lead. Eight versus five. Derek's blood-dripping body fell on the concrete ground. Sinuwerte ka lang!

As she headed downstairs, Hagibis stood by the door. He swung his knife at her breast, yet Chesa stepped backward. “Iisahan mo pa pala ako ha!”

She quickly drew her loaded sawed-off shotgun, then blasted his chest. Two jets of flames pierced through her enemy's chest, and knocked it down cold. Another point for Chesa's team: nine versus five.

Chesa wore a wide smile, then she reloaded her guns. Nasaan na yung mandurugas na 'yon?

As she placed her last shell, another cracking gunfire echoed around her. She ran out from the tower, then she saw Lordino's body shattered into cubes on the ground. Ten versus five points. The catch? Derek sniped him. Anyare? Kailan pa ba na-activate ang friendly fire ha?

A moment after, she heard quick footsteps headed to her. Good thing, it's Ren, and the boys after all. Chesa raised her eyebrows at Arnold,

“Arnold, sana ikaw na lang naiwan sa spawn!”

“Sorry, ate Ches...” He lowered his head, “Balik na lang kaya ako sa base?”

She nodded at Arnold, “Mabuti pa nga! Baka may abangers na sa'ting lalabasan eh! Dali!”

Arnold hurried back to their spawning area, with an assault rifle in hand.

She looked back at Ren, but their snipers already headed upstairs. The whole war zone is filled again with violent rhythm of gunfire.

She glanced at Ren, “Kabilaan tayo sa mga pintuan, nakakadala eh!”

“Sige ba!” Ren nodded, then he headed at the back entrance of the air control tower.

Chesa remained at the main entrance. Tama ba ang inutos ko dito?Ako na yata ang tumayong lider sa grupong 'to eh!

She shook her head, as she leaned at the nearby concrete wall.Ano ba? Baka magalit sa'kin si Ren, dahil mas-gugustuhin ko nang mang-abangers sa mga kumag na'yun! Tse!
