(UNEDITED)
Ayumi's POV
As soon as Yui and I opened the gate, the sky became a dark grey. We were just about to pass the fountain when I felt a drop of water slide down my cheek. Yui soon ran for cover while I stood in the rain, looking up and enjoying the feeling of it hitting my face with a rare smile on my face. Not even 5 seconds have passed before Yui was pulling me towards the front door.
"Ayumi! You know that you could have caught a cold if you stayed out there for too long. Please take more care of yourself" Yui exclaimed while gripping my hands tightly, giving me a slight frown. She jumped a bit when thunder was heard behind me.
"Whatever, you know I enjoy this kind of weather Yui. Plus, when have I ever gotten sick in my life?" I said clicking my tongue before turning around, grabbing the door knocker and knocking twice. We both stood there for a little bit, waiting, but got no reply.
"What kind of people don't come out to welcome their guests, especially when we fucking knocked?" I mumbled under my breath as Yui kept yelling "Hello".
Yui reaches for the doorknob, but before she can even touch it, the door opened itself startling both Yui and me.
'What the hell' I thought as we both walked in, revealing a hall filled with pillars and a staircase, all with this red carpet in the middle of it. To top off the fact that they were indeed rich, they had a huge glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling, twinkling dimly.
"Excuse me, is anyone home?" Yui yells into the empty mansion.
"That's weird, maybe they weren't told we were coming. Dumbasses" I told Yui, especially saying that last part really loud.
We both walked down the hall, looking for any sign of life. Yui yelled 'hello' one last time before giving up. I look to my right to see a green couch and lying on it was a male figure. I tapped Yui's shoulder and pointed at him.
"Hey look it's a dead body"
"Don't say that Ayumi!! Let's go ask that person for some help."
We both walked towards the couch, well more like Yui ran while I walked cautiously behind. As I got closer, I was finally able to see his appearance.
He was fairly handsome. He had unruly red hair that faded towards the end of his spiked tips. He was wearing his uniform a bit weird, his black pants only had the right pant leg rolled up. He also had a black school blazer with an unbuttoned white dress shirt and a red tie that was tied strangely on the right side of his body. Either he wants to be edgy or he just doesn't know how to tie a tie. I'm betting on the latter.
Yui went to kneel in front of him trying to get his attention when she touched his hand.
"It's cold? Are you okay?!"
I facepalmed as I try to pull Yui away.
"Why are you even trying to touch a body you just found? Haven't you heard of stranger danger?"
Yui totally ignored me before pulling out of my grip, putting her head on his chest and checking for a heartbeat. I just leaned on the wall, shaking my head and tsking.
"There's no pulse!"
I sweatdropped. When I said that there was a party, I didn't expect to be correct. Yui whipped out her ugly pink flip phone exclaiming that she needs to call the ambulance before it was snatched out of her hands.
"So noisy," the dead body said as he slowly sat up.
He glared at both of us with his green eyes. Something about those eyes was familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it.
