Ayumi's POV:
I walk back to Yui's room and see her packing. I sat down on a chair as I watched her quietly.
"Come on Ayumi! You have to start packing too!"
"I'm not going with you Yui."
"What?! Why not? This is our chance to escape."
"Yell any louder and all the boys will hear you. Then your chance will be gone."
She shut up. I sighed before helping her fold her clothes and placing them in the luggage.
"I made a promise Yui. I'm kind of stuck here. But you, you can go and live a normal life. Get married, have a family with the guy you like and die peacefully."
"What about you Ayumi?"
"Hmm even if I wanted to go back, no one in the church really liked me anyway. These guys treat me more normally than them." I said thoughtfully.
She seemed to think for a bit before gripping Seiji's diary tightly.
"If you're going to stay then so am I."
"Haah? Are you insane? No offense but you're a bit weak at protecting yourself."
"I-I want to learn the truth," Yui said thoughtfully while looking down at the picture of her baby self and Seiji.
"Y U I. You can't stay because you want to 'learn the truth'. That's not a valid reason."
"No! I want to learn the truth, even if it's a small chance. I also have to protect you Ayumi."
"Whatever do what you want," I told her as I walked out of her room.
I walked down the hall and found a library a nice wide window. God, these people have really nice rooms, I'm honestly jealous.
I grabbed a random book about stars and sat in one of the open seats. I was reading, still bored, when I felt a slight wind pass me. Without looking up, I spoke.
"Looks like we meet again Subaru."
He didn't say anything as he looked out the window acting like some emo kid. He sat on the windowsill, putting one leg up making my eyes go to his boots.
"Subaru give me your boots. They're cute I want them."
"Haah? What are you talking about? I'm not giving them to you."
"What? Why not?"
"Because they're mine."
"Not for long."
I stood up and darted at him.
"hEY WHAT THE FUCk-"
I grabbed a hold of his boot and used my left shoe-covered foot to push his face back.
"THEY'RE MINE!"
"WHAT THE FUCK AYUMI GET THIS DIRTY SHOE OFF-"
I successfully got his right boot off and held it in the air.
"IT'S MY VICTORY-"
We heard a door open and looked to see Yui looking at us a bit confused. I chuckled nervously as I held the boot behind my back.
"Yui. What are you doing here?"
Shaking that confused look, she put on a determined one. I leaned on the wall watching her.
"You're still here?" Subaru directed at Yui, collecting himself from that little wrestle we had earlier. "You wasted opportunity."
"If you know anything about me or my father, please tell me."
