Ayumi's POV:

'Yuzuki' I thought as I opened my eyes.

Why did that name sound so familiar? I realized I was back in my room meaning Subaru must have brought me back. Thankfully today was the weekend so that meant free time. I got up and stretched looking outside, realizing it was late afternoon. Jeez, how long was I out? I changed out of my old clothes and put on a simple black tank top and a black denim skirt. I walked out of my room and saw Yui outside with Kanato talking carrying a bouquet of roses. From what I could see, they seemed to be heading to a cemetery right by the mansion. Assuming she was gonna be fine, I walked downstairs to see some of the boys in the living room. Shu was sleeping on one of the couches (as usual), Laito seemed to be grinning to himself as he was looking at something on his phone and Subaru was staring at the wall angrily. Jeez does this boy have no hobbies? He seemed to sense me and looked up at where I was hiding. I hid behind the wall, still embarrassed about the kiss from yesterday. About to walk away, I bumped into a chest and looked up. Speak of the devil.

"Oi, where are you going?"

"Back to my room", I told him before trying to maneuver around him.

He clearly didn't like my answer. He grabbed my shoulders and turned me around, pushing me towards the stairs.

"Hey stop! Subaru you fucking-"

I pushed my feet hard into the ground and whipped around only to bang into his chest for the second time again today. I looked up about to go off at him when I realized how close our faces were. I turned bright red remembering last nights event. Subaru seemed to be doing the same thing as we both looked away and I sighed before grabbing his hand.

"C'mon I'll go downstairs with you"

I turned away, not missing the red on his cheeks grow darker.

We walked down the stairs and Laito seemed to hear us. He turned at us grinning before looking at our hands. His smile faltered before he put it back up but there was a dangerous glint in his eyes. I let his hand go due to instinct and I sat in one of the single person chairs while Subaru sat on the couch again. Laito was staring at me (again).

"So Ayumi-chan, how are you feeling? Subaru told us how you fainted yesterday".

I glared at Subaru, mad that he told everyone about how that was my moment of weakness. I tsked before looking back at Laito.

"I'm feeling much better! But oh man yesterday was eventful! Listen to this! You should have seen Subaru's face when he k-"

I felt a hand cover my mouth and I see Subaru glaring at me but he had that blush on his face. Laito seemed to notice and that dangerous glint in his eyes grew brighter.

"Fufu what did he do Ayumi-chan? I'm DYING to know".

I grinned and licked Subaru's hand before he pulled it back disgusted that I even did that.

"Well, Subaru killed a bug on my face resulting in him slapping me really hard. I got really mad and punched his face, but he seemed to enjoy it!"

Subaru looked at me like I was the dumbest person in the world. Laito clearly didn't buy it but he decided to let it go for now.

"Hoho Subaru are you perhaps a masochist?"

"I don't want to hear it from the likes of you pervert."

"There there Subaru. It's okay to admit it".

"HAAH? YOU WANNA GO?"

I facepalmed. Why did Laito have to rile him up like this? Before I could cut in and stop them, Reiji came in the room. I was still a bit uncomfortable from the incident from before so I took out my knife and started playing with the edge of it, avoiding his gaze.
