Amy's POV
I woke up the next morning feeling better than before. I finally managed to fix things with my family. That's one problem down. Another one to go...and that's my problem with Toby. No. Stop thinking first Amy. But it's hard. I still hate myself for taking out my frustration on Toby.
Ok ok. I shook my head to get my thoughts straight. Tomorrow was that great party in school. And...Hazel forced Bella, Bridget and me to go shopping for clothes to use in the prom. Mom encouraged us to go as well, to the point where she demanded that she'd pay for what we bought. I'm not spoiled though, if that's what you think.
"Alright. Let's go!" Hazel smiled, heading outside.
Bella stopped walking. "Wait. Who's driving? We're all still student drivers."
Hazel smirked. "We're walking."
Bella groaned while I just agreed and Bridget followed suit. We walked all the way to the mall, which was rather tiring. So the minute we got there, we went to Starbucks and ordered frappes. After all, we were all addicted to it.
After finishing our drinks in the comfortable, air conditioned coffee shop, Hazel dragged us into several stores. "Ok, nevermind." she threw her hands up.
"What?" the three of us asked.
"Those stores are quite pricey." Hazel mumbled.
Bella winked. "You can't go wrong with the department store."
"True." Hazel and I said in unison, laughing after.
Bridget grinned. "Let's go then."
The four of us made our way to the department store and immediately, Hazel scouted the area. She decided to pick dresses one by one so that the others could "judge". First was Bridget. She tried on about two dresses. The first was a simple red strapless dress. Second was a dark blue mini gown with silver beads. She then came out of the fitting room. She wore a short lilac figure-fitting dress with small gems sprinkled over the bodice. "I like this one." she chuckled.
We all agreed that it was definitely the best for her. Then Bella was next. She first tried on a white flowy dress that stopped at her knees. "This is not me." she laughed.
I pointed at her. "Very true."
She then changed into something else. Bella came out wearing a light pink dress with a magenta ribbon around the waist. "Yes!" we all laughed.
Then it came down to me. Ugh. I hate stuff like this, but I was giving Hazel a chance. After trying out a yellow gown and a silver one, Hazel handed me one. "I think this fits your preference."
"Ok." I nodded and got changed.
I came out wearing a cream tube dress with diamond-like beads lining the top. "This is nice." I smiled sheepishly.
The three of them gave a thumbs up. We then proceeded to the shoes. We all basically bought simple heels. Then we finally paid. Thank you, Mom for the treat. The adventure, however, didn't end there. While aimlessly walking around, we bumped into Riley and Connor. "Oh hey Hazel! Hey Amy!" Riley smiled.
"Hey!" Hazel smiled.
"H-hi." I said quietly.
Hazel said, "This is Bridget and this is Bella."
The twins gave a nod and sweet smile. "Hello." smiled the two brothers.
"Where's Toby?" asked my sister. Hazel, stop.
Riley replied, "Getting ready for that school dance or party."
"Guess you guys are too." Connor smiled at the twins and me.
"Yeah." I tried to answer.
After a little small talk, we went our separate ways and went home. After showing Mom what we got, the twins' dad came to pick them up. "Thank you for the treat!" they both said.
Mom nodded. "No problem."
And the twins left. I was going to rest for the big day tomorrow, so I thanked Mom and Hazel then went to my room, throwing myself to my bed.
Tomorrow's the day. And he'll be there.

The next chapter is the last! (Excluding the epilogue of course). Didn't expect it to be short haha. Sorry. But don't worry. I've got other BYE fanfics up my sleeve ;)
Enjoy! ❤
