NICK P.O.V.: Demi left the living room and I looked at Joe.

Joe: what?

Nick: you made her feel uncomfortable

Joe: I did? There's nothing wrong with it, you've heard me doing that sounds and she too so (he shrugged and left)

Sophie: I love that boy but he can be really...unconscious about his words (I smiled at her)

Nick: don't worry, he's always been like this with her so, she'll be okay (she nodded and left to find Joe on their room)

I walked to Demi's and I's room and found her arranging her clothes in the closet that we would share this week.

Nick: hey, is everything okay?

Demi: yea, course (she replied not even looking at me)

Nick: you don't seem that okay tho (I tried to sound unconcerned)

Demi: why are you saying that?

Nick: cause I know that when your mind is messed you always start to arrange things...and you're doing it

Demi: umm, no...don't worry, I just want to do this (I sat on the bed next to the wardrobe)

Nick: Dem...

Demi: okay okay, I felt a little uncomfortable with Joe talking about my sex life and the sounds I do while having sex, that's all

Nick: I knew it, I already told him about it (she looked at me)

Demi: why? I'm fine, this was something not that important Nick

Nick: still, he shouldn't have said that (I shrugged)

Demi: well, thanks but don't talk for me...I can do it next time (I nodded)

Nick: sorry

Demi: it's okay...do you like here?

Nick: the beach is amazing, I wanna get into the water already and it's 7 a.m.

Demi: don't you want to sleep?

Nick: no, you do?

Demi: kinda (we laughed) maybe I'll sleep a little by the pool under the sun

Nick: that's a good idea actually

Demi: (we heard laughs and she walked to the window and looked at me smiling) Jophie's already in the pool having fun, maybe you should join them

Nick: I don't know, maybe I'll go for that nap with you by the pool

Demi: I mean...my plans are always the best

Nick: kinda (she giggled)

Demi: let's go there? (She pointed with her head to the pool)

Nick: let's go miss Lovato (she smiled and grabbed her phone and her sunglasses and I did the same)

We went out and saw the couple playing in the water.

Demi: I can't understand how they have that energy

Nick: they're young

Demi: (she laughed out loud) Joe's older that us both

Nick: yea but...Peter Pan, you know? (She nodded laughing)

Demi: I'm gonna listen some music, wanna join me?

Nick: let's do it (we were side by side in different lounge chairs and she handled me a headphone)

Demi: you can choose the songs (she gave me her phone)

Nick: okay then...we need to do some streaming (I said as I played Sucker on her phone)

Demi: (she laughed again) you're so stupid

And there, I realized that...happiness probably was closer than I thought it was.
