DEMI P.O.V.: the second he laid his eyes on mine I knew it was the baddest decision to take. I was completely vulnerable under his gaze and it confused the hell outta me. I felt like an idiot. I probably looked like an idiot to him.

Demi: do I look like an idiot? (I asked and he laughed out loud)

Nick: no, you don't...why would you?

Demi: don't know (I shrugged and put my hands upper in the back of his neck touching softly his skin and curls under my fingers)

Nick: do I look like an idiot?

Demi: no, never (he smiled) well, you have looked like an idiot sometimes but not tonight

Nick: I'm glad (he took a step closer to me and I felt my heart beating faster and faster)

We danced some minutes more just looking in each other's eyes and smiling. I felt like nothing else mattered to me anymore. Like there was no one else in the world. Just us...nah, just him. He caressed my back gently and I hugged him.

Nick: wasn't expecting this (he whispered to my ear and I smiled feeling his arms hug me even tighter)

Demi: promise me you'll never leave me again

Nick: promise me you'll never walk away from me again...please (I smiled big and nodded smelling his scent)

Demi: I do. I promise you I'll never walk away from you again

Nick: thank you. I promise I'll never leave you alone again (I looked into his eyes, my lips inches away from his and he lick his lower lip staring into my mouth) I'm not sure of what I should do now

Demi: probably nothing (I said looking to the floor) it's getting late...we should go back to the cabin

Nick: yea, we should (I nodded and walked to grab my things before walking out of the restaurant with Nick beside me)

I chickened out. I knew I had to go for the kiss...but I couldn't. My mind told me "no way you're doing this, he's your best friend". We walked silently until we stepped into the house.

Nick: I'll go to bed

Demi: mhm, I just wanna take some air but I'll be there soon too

Nick: kay (he walked into the room and I sent Sophie a text)

Demi~ mind helping me? I'm desperate!!!! Pleaseee

Sophie: what happens? I'm with Joe in our bedroom...you know ;)

Demi~ please meet me by the pool. I need to talk with you...NOW

Sophie~ going

I waited some seconds and Sophie appeared in front of me with messy hair and her cheeks blushed and wearing a robe.

Demi: sorry for interrupting you and Joe

Sophie: no big deal, we'll continue later (she sat down next to me in a stretcher) hpw was everything?

Demi: everything went amazingly perfect but...

Sophie: but?

Demi: I couldn't do it

Sophie: do what?

Demi: I couldn't kiss him. We were just about to kiss when I chickened out and oh lord (I grabbed my head) I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do now

Sophie: hey, chill (she palmed my back) you're supposed to do what you want to do

Demi: but what if we never get to kiss?

Sophie: you want to kiss him?

Demi: I want everything with him Soph, but I'm afraid I'll never be able to make a move when it comes to a kiss

Sophie: it's not that difficult...he's Nick, right? Nothing can go wrong between you both

Demi: I feel like I don't even remember how to kiss someone when he's around me

Sophie: when was the last time you kissed someone?

Demi: umm...probably the day I kissed him for the last time

Sophie: and that was...

Demi: lot of months ago

Sophie: I can't believe it (she smiled) do you think maybe that's why you're nervous about it?

Demi: maybe...I don't- (I was taken aback by her lips straddling mine. I kissed her back like 3 seconds and she laughed)

Sophie: there is it, you're a good kisser still...go ahead and kiss the boy...he'll fall for you Demi

Demi: you didn't fall for me, did you? (We laughed)

Sophie: I've always been in love with my boo (I smiled and hugged her)

Demi: thank you boo

Sophie: now go in that room and kiss him

Demi: maybe I should wait a little bit longer

Sophie: okay...but you already know you're a good kisser so chill about it (she kissed my cheek) Joe's waiting for me, see ya tomorrow

Demi: see ya tomorrow...tell Joe I say you're a better kisser than him

Sophie: I will (we laughed and entered to our rooms)

I looked to the bed and saw Nick sleeping already. I changed my clothes beside him and spent more than an hour just looking at him and amazed with his handsomeness. I swear to God I've never seen anyone more handsome than him.

Demi: you got me like you want me and you don't even know it (I smiled and caressed his cheek softly before laying next to him and falling deeply sleep)
