Chapter 1

                     

Nayla's POV

I was up early in the morning to finish packing my little road trip bag for Kentucky. My little sister had lived there with her mom. My Dad had decided to go get her so she could come visit us back home for a while. He had asked if me and my younger sister Lei wanted to come along with him, we of course said Yes because we were so tired of being stuck in the house all day looking at the same four walls.

It was currently 5:52 am and I had already took my shower and did my daily hygiene things. I was just laying in bed on my phone with a towel on scrolling through instagram, I had stopped when DaBaby picture pops up. He was looking so damn good in these pictures; his smile was so damn cute to me. I immediately double tapped the picture and shut my phone off.

—10:12am

"Nayla and Lei come on or i'm leaving y'all black asses" my Dad yells from the front door.

We both instantly start rushing to grab our things scattering all over the place then quickly running outside to the fresh new rental. It was a sexy red Hummer.
Getting in the car we began our road trip to Kentucky. "Put on y'all seatbelts I don't have time for the police to be on my ass today" my Dad says. I roll my eyes with irritation on my face but I mask the look when he looks in the rearview mirror and I rest my head on the door. This is going to be a long ride.

I had woke up to the sound of my Dad cursing someone out. This man and his road rage. I checked my phone, we're already 2 hours in and I was so hungry. "Dad can we stop by a QT ? or something ?.. I'm hungry" he mumbled a yeah and turned up the radio.

I was going to go back to sleep when something or shall I say someone catches my eye in the next car. BITCH I know i'm not trippin it was that nigga DaBaby. I ain never rolled down a window this quick in my life. He had his window rolled down as well and I took my chances, took my phone out to record this moment. I screamed "Dababy Dababy Dababy, I LOVE YOU"

My Dad and sister instantly turn their heads. My Dad is confused and my sister is just as happy as I am. Lei joins in and DaBaby notices us and gives us that billion dollar smile that snatches wigs and takes out his phone. We started recording eachother. I was so happy.  "Dad you have to get closer" Lei says. "Child no the hell I don't our exit here anyways." I look down sadly and wave DaBaby goodbye.

That moment was so special and I loved every moment of it. I just wish it could have lasted forever.

We pull up at the QT to get us some food, gas, and slushies. My Dad had paid and we we're walking out in no time. "Nayla I forgot the gas could you go back in and pay for me" he handed me a 10. I had paid for the gas and I was soon walking out the store. When I looked at the car, I saw DaBaby talking to my Dad and sister. I was mentally freaking out but I had calmly walked over to them.

"This is my daughter Nayla, she's very good with kids. She's been working at a daycare for 3 years now and I think she would love it" my Dad says proudly

"Hi nice to meet you Nayla" DaBaby holds his hand out and I gladly take his hand and give him a firm shake.

"I was wondering if you would like to babysit my children actually be like a nanny for them. I've been looking for a nanny for quite some time now and since i'm always so busy I can't always have them with me, you will get paid good money and you don't have to answer right away-"

"Yes I would love to Dab-" I start to say with a bright smile on my face.

"Call me Jonathan" he cuts me off. "I have to get going but I already gave my contact info to your Dad and he already knows that you will be moving to North Carolina and traveling with me and the kids."

North Carolina...Moving??? I was stunned that my Dad had made that big decision for me.

I nod my head anyways then he turns to my Dad "Mr.Wilcott would it be okay to go over a contract tomorrow. I'll be taking her tomorrow evening if that's fine"

"Yeah it's totally fine, she's 18, she's already graduated and she's responsible. I trust that i've raised her well and I trust her." my Dad says making me smile. He hardly says things like this infront of our faces but i'm glad he did.

"Well sir it's set then. I'll text you the place. Nice meeting you all"
he shakes my Dad's hand and hugs me and my sister.

I can't believe this. God is Great.

We picked up my other baby sister and headed to a hotel for the night. My smile didn't leave my face for one second. I was out of this world and I couldn't wait for tomorrow.

Well this is one of the many stories i've tried to write to be taken seriously and I'm kinda nervous. I hope I did well enough and that atleast some of you enjoyed this and please comment if you would like more.
