Chapter 29

Jonathan's POV~

As Nayla and Kayla went to the pool, I'd went to go pick up the kids. They were going to also play a big part in the proposal.

"Daddy are you mwyarring Ny?" Candence asks as I pull out the shiny wedding ring

"You too smart for ya own good. Yes Daddy is and he wants you and your brother to be there when he does it."

"Yess!" Masiah fist bumps in the backseat and he kicks his little feet.

As we pull up to the Arena, I see workers getting everything together.

I pull up to the back of the Arena and I park, the fans went crazy as soon as they saw me so I always parked in the back.

I'd asked Nick to come to and I flew Nayla's family out so they could see everything and not feel left out.

Me and her Dad had a conversation yesterday. He told me to be a man and step up to the responsibilities of being a man. I was doing that and I was going to be happy while doing it with my beautiful fiancé and family.

I get out of the car and I unstrap Cadence and Masiah from their car seats.

"Come on y'all hurry up." I sneak them into the back door of the building

I see Mr.Wilcott and Nayla's sister sitting down watching TV in the lounge

"Ayeee wasgood y'all."

They look back at me and the kids and smile

Mr.Wilcott hugs me and Nayla's little sister Lei hugs the kids

"Hey Jon." She waves and Mr.Wilcott crouches down to tickle the kids

"Hey, how yah doing?"

"We're doing good, glad to be back down here. So what's the plan."

"Yeah we gotta hurry cause Kayla said that the pool was almost closing."

I let the kids roam around and go play while we talk about how I wanted the proposal to go.

"Let me see the ring." Lei Beams

I pull the ring out of my back pocket and I give it to her

"Oh wow she's going to love this, it's so beautiful."

"Yeah that's her type of ring." Mr.Wilcott takes the ring and looks at it then he hands it back to me

I put the ring back in my pocket

"I already told my team to decorate the stage all nice and pretty but what I need y'all to do is help me with a slideshow. I need old pictures and good memories."

"Okay we can do that. We have some in our phones."  Lei says

"Alright if y'all could go in that room right there, the team that specializes in that department will help y'all."

"Ouu I can't wait, my big sister is getting married!" Lei squeals

Her dad just shakes his head and he follows her to the room.

I text Kayla

Me: Kayla I need you to take her to some appointments for me and get her ready and if she asks why just tell her it's a date.

Kayla: okay just send me the locations, we're on our way back to the car right now.

I sent her all of the spots that she needed to go to
