/ / /.::You've been magnetized?! Together?::. Ratchet exclaimed in shock.
Miko tugged at the point of Arcee's pede as if it would do anything. "They're inseparable," Miko said, stopping her attempt.
You laid where Bulkhead had sat, one leg over the other. Your servos were behind your helm for added comfort. You watched the trio with curiosity and amusement.
"And the device that did this is on it's way to Megatron," Bulkhead added.
.::The Polarity Gauntlet. A deceptively simple but diabolical creation.::.
"Just tell me you can unhitch us Ratchet," Arcee sighed.
.::It may simply be a residual magnetic charge given your current . . . attraction.::.
"They're not attracted to each other!" The punk teenage girl argued. You bet that Ratchet was rolling his optics at that one.
You snickered to yourself. Bulkhead was facing away from you, so you could clearly see the two-wheeler glaring at you.
"That's good to hear, I don't wanna have to worry about any competition," you joked, looking flirtatiously her way. The femme's optics widened and she looked away to hide her blushing faceplates. You laughed quietly to yourself again.
.::Wait, who's that?::. The medic demanded.
"Oh, it's just that neutral seeker Arcee met, Y/N," Bulkhead informed him.
"How's it hummin'?" You asked.
.::Oh great,::. he muttered. .::We don't have time for this. The Polarity Gauntlet is our best bet for reversing it's effects. If it ends up in Megatron's servos, however-::.
The old medic's sentence was finished by a familiar voice. .::-he'll use it for a lot more than just attaching notes to the fridge.::. It was Jack! You wondered how he was doing.
A female voice called for Jack, asking for clarification. You figured that because Arcee had mentioned Jack's mother was a friend, that the lady was June. Ratchet explained why having a weapon that can control the magnetic stuff is bad for beings made of metal, who are by extension, susceptible to the weapon.
Ratchet continued, .::The good news is that the gauntlet hasn't traveled far. I would strongly advise pursuit! And also, keep an optic on that seeker. For all we know, they're after the gauntlet for them self!::.
You shrugged, standing up. "That's fair, I suppose." You skipped over to Bulkhead's side.
"We can get there faster on wheels!" The Wrecker announced.
"Woah woah woah! And crush me in the process?!" Arcee protested.
"Riiiiggghht."
"Great! I'll take point!" Miko announced.
"No," Arcee stated. She was glaring as she looked over her shoulder, even though she was too small to see anything over Bulk's.
