Goofy Goofers

Shikamaru drove me home just before sunset. I waved goodbye and walked into the house.

Konan was already there, leaning with her front against the kitchen counter, a cup of tea in the one hand and her other hand flipping the pages of a magazine.

She saw me walk in and smiled warmly.

"Finally! I was just about to call up a hunt and go looking for you!" She joked.

I tossed my bag onto the table and hugged her.

"No need. Shikamaru had me all safe and sound. He figured on his own about everything that happened and comforted me." I released her and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.

"And Naruto?" My sister asked.

"I'm gonna tell him everything tonight. But make sure that, yeah I'm angry at them but I don't want him to do anything about it."

"You really think his gonna just sit back?" She gave me a look as if she were already saying 'you know that won't happen, right? '.

"I honestly don't know." I shrugged. "I'm gonna go shower and get ready for tonight. Are you here tonight or with Yahiko?"

"Well Naguto is still in town for a bit so I'm probably gonna go stay at home tonight."

Home wasn't here. Her home was with Yahiko. She moved in with him last year.

"Okay, I'll try be quick." I turned to leave but she stopped me.

"Take your time. I'm gonna leave when Naruto gets here. It'll probably be while your in the shower." I nodded and left to run upstairs.

I grabbed a pair of dark grey sweatpants and an orange long sleeved sleep shirt with the face of a little fox on, the eyes closed. It was a hella cute shirt...don't judge.

I jumped in the shower and washed my hair and body.

I was rinsing my hair when I heard a knock.

"Yeah?!" I yelled over the running water, I heard Konan saying something but couldn't understand. "What?!"

"Naruto is here!" She opened the door slightly and poked her head in, the steam escaping and the cold entering. "I'm gonna go, I'll call you later. I love you. Bye!"

I wasn't really effected by my sister being in the bathroom while I was showering...sorta. Just before she left and closed the door...

"By the way, nICE ASS!" She slammed the door shut.

"KONAN!" I scolded loudly.

I sighed and hurried to finish up. I climbed out and dried before dressing.

I slipped slippers on and walked down stairs, my hair wrapped up in a sky blue towel.

I saw a flash of yellow before I was engulfed in a tight hug.

"Naruto!" I squealed as he picked me up.

"I'm so excited to have another sleepover!" Naruto spoke excitingly as he spun me. "We haven't had one in a frigging year!"

He set me down on my feet and pulled away at arms length but his hands were still firmly placed on my shoulders. The towel once wrapped around my skull, now laying on the floor. Not that I cared much right now. My hair was dry enough to not leave a trail of water behind me.

"I brought the pizza and movies!"

"I thought I said to bring video games." I laughed before pulling away from him to get pizza.

Naruto's (POV) ((I did one for Neji so its fair I do one for each boy as we go))

(Y/n) shuffled to the kitchen and threw the pizza box open before taking a slice of pizza in each hand and chowing. She's so cute.

"Yeah, I know but I thought movies could be more entertaining. It's comedies. I thought it'd be a good idea to help lift your spirit...ya know, after you tell me about...ya know." I nervously scratched the back of my neck.

The sparkle in her eye disappeared and she looked down at one of the slices.

"Okay, but please...promise you won't get mad at Sasuke..." she put the pizza down and grabbed my arm, dragging me to the couch.

"Why would I be mad?" I asked confused. I tried asking Sasuke about the break up at football practice but he ignored me, purposefully bumping shoulders with me every time he walked past me. Hard.

"Oh boy..." she pulled me down to sit next to her.

So she begun explaining...everything.

I felt my blood boil. That bastard. I begun shaking with anger.

"But please don't do anything!" She quickly added when she was done. "The damage is done, it won't do any good to hurt him or anything!"

"The fuck it does, (Y/n)!" I yelled. "He did that to you! YOU! What was he thinking? You deserved so much more...and Sakura? How could she do that to you!? You've been nothing but good to the both of 'em! Fuck, man. I just wanna...!" I stood up from the couch and marched for the front door, my plan already forming in my mind.

"Naruto, no!" (Y/n) grabbed my hand with her small ones. "We can get them back, another time! Not tonight. Please. I wanna just forget everything for a while." Tears gathered in her beautiful (e/c) eyes.

My anger shifted to concern in an instant at the sight of her despair.

I took my hand from her and cupped her face with both my hands.

"No, no, no...I'm fine, see?" I forced a grin. "Let's just watch a movie! I got one with Trevor Noah!"

"The South African guy?" She asked as she looked up at me with an innocent face, some tears still looming.

"I think so..." I frowned my eyebrows in thought. She giggled.

"Okay, let's go be goofy goofers. I got some ice cream in the fridge. Go set the pizza on the coffee table and get that movie in and I'll bring drinks and snacks!" She said happily, her smile returning. A tear or two had fallen when she blinked but I wiped it away for her.

Not wanting to make it weird or making her uncomfortable, I took my hands back and grinned.

"On it!" I did as I was told.

The DVD machine had just taken the DVD in when she came in, arms filled with packets of chips, cookies, gummies, chocolate and two different types of sodas. I helped her put it all on the table safely. I sat on the couch and stretched out but she ran back into the kitchen.

She returned once again but with a big tub of (favourite ice cream) balanced on one hand, two tablespoons already lodged into the ice cream and two glasses held by the rims in her other hand.

She sat herself down, my arm placed behind her, indirectly wrapped herself under my arm but I don't think she noticed...I cleared my throat,  a small blush rushing to my cheeks.

I started the movie as she poured us drinks. We ate pizza, ice cream and snacks while laughing at each movie.

We finished a Trevor Noah movie, an Adam Sanders movie and an animation movie called Puss in Boots.

"Thanks for coming over Naruto." (Y/n) said tiredly as we cleaned up a bit.

"It's a pleasure." I smiled before yawning.

We placed the dishes in the dishwasher, threw away the trash and put away any left overs before locking up, grabbing our bags, switching the lights off and walking upstairs.

We walked to the direction of her room but we stopped in the doorway just before hers.

The guest bedroom.

My room for the night.

"Good night, Naruto." (Y/n) yawned as she turned away to cover her mouth.

Building up the gut and using the opportunity, I leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her cheek.

Nothing I haven't done before though...but this was just a little different than the times before.

"Good night!" I took a step into the room and shut the door.

I heard her door close a moment later. I leaned my back against the door and slid down.

"Dammit...you idiot!" I hissed to myself softly.
