25. Emergency Room

CHAPTER 25:

~~Emergency Room~~

INTRO:

"I dropped the big glass, on my feet, we'll the floor, now I have glass stuck I my feet" I reply and she gasps dropping her things sitting down next to me

"Oh Aves" she replies and softly touches my hair "How much longer"

"Well I'm not big on the list so probably so ages, I think" I reply

"We are near the bottom of the list" Grayson buts in so Billie turns to glare at him

"It's fine" I wave at her, but she still glares, before turning to me smiling grabbing her bag.

GRAYSON I say, yelling internally this is probably the dumbest thing that I could ever do, whilst watching him intently, whilst he focuses on the game he's playing on his phone.

"Yes Avie," he says... he called me Avie.

I really thought that I was doing okay, for having my heartbroken, in the past week and a half, but it seems that I am not as strong as I think that I am, we'll emotionally, I have to put a smile on my face for my 3 daughters- oh my god, who's going to look after them

"The girls!?" I say sitting it up groaning when I move my feet

"Hold up, don't move," Grayson says moving me backward "I have taken care of it" he replies

"What do you mean?" I ask him, we called their kindergarten to say that someone else will be picking them up- Jake, they can stay with Jake for now but depending on what happens, I won't be able to take care of them.

"Well, they are also my fake kids," he says

"You;re not having them" I reply instantly, there is no way that I am letting him look after our girls, he has given up on me and them so many times, that I don't trust him, especially since he couldn't even remain committed to me for more than 12 hours- drunk or not.

"Avery why not, I can take care of them"

"No. I'm not allowing it, it's fine, I'll figure something out"

"Don't tell me no, they will be fine, with me, you can barely walk-" he starts butcan'tt finish his sentence because the emergency room doors burst open, with a screaming teenager flying through,

Yep, that's Billie screaming and yelling her head off, when she sets eyes on my she runs over to Grayson and me at full speed, crashing into me, pulling me into a bone-crushing hug, I hugged her back, but wince when she touches my left foot

"Oh my god, I'm sorry," she says letting me go examining the damage

"What the hell have you done," she says looking at me turning her back to Grayson, who looks at her shocked, she hasn't acknowledged him

"Help Billie," he says

"Grayson" she replied curtly before turning back to me "what did you?" she asks
