"Wow" he breaths and I smirk
"Like what you see," I say, imitating the same thing he has said to me on numerous occasions
"You look... nice Avery" he compliments, and I blush, he has never complimented me like before

WE WERE WASHING THE DISHES IN SILENCE, this is something that I find we do a lot, we hand wash the dishes together because it is cheaper too, running a washing machine, drying machine, tv's, lights, is very expensive and I have had to cut down shifts so that I am able to look after the girls since daycare is also very expensive, Grayson works pretty much every day so I am left with the girls most of the time, On Friday and Monday mornings I have a shift at the café down the road 'salt lamp' and the kids attend daycare, these are the only days that they go since it is the most affordable, my mum has volunteered to look after them on Wednesday so the both of us can work and on Friday Jake and his Wife take Lola, and Billie takes Saskia and Ava, and in return I am able to look after Jake's kids on Thursdays, whilst taking and picking up Jackson Billie's son up on Friday and Monday morning as well from the same daycare that the girls attend. I have been pretty much avoiding Grayson, it has been pretty awkward.
"So I was thinking, maybe we should have a family day out, maybe go to the movies or something," Grayson asks me while we are washing the dishes from lunch.
"Yeah, that seems fun" I reply placing the dry plates in the pile
"Are you being sarcastic?" he asks
"No, no, what are you talking back," I say, we haven't talked about our brief kiss almost a week ago, we have been going about our daily life as if nothing has happened.
"You sounded like you didn't want to" he replies
"No, of course not, a family day seems fun" I reply and a huge smile appears on his face
"Leave it all to me," he says running down the hall into the study, I look at the dishes and huff, he has only washed half of the dishes.
"Ugh" I reply looking at the pile "Sassy, do you want to help mummy?" why not start them off young, besides Saskia wants to help me do EVERYTHING.
...
We go about our normal daily routine the next day, the girls wake me up, we head downstairs and I turn on the TV whilst making myself a coffee, I hate coffee, but it gives me the energy I need. While I start to make breakfast, Grayson gets up, feeds the baby and gets himself ready, whilst I feed the kids, then we swap over, he finishes feeding them whilst I take a shower, although today I put a little more effort into my appearance actually taking time to do my makeup, I look through my part of the walk n closet and pick out something other than leggings or track-suit pants, I then change Lola into some clothes for the day before walking down the stairs where Grayson meets me.
"Wow" he breaths and I smirk
"Like what you see," I say, imitating the same thing he has said to me on numerous occasions
