4. Home (Sneak Peek)

I SAID I NEEDED SPACE~ CHAPTER 4:

INTRO:

"Michael and I were talking, and we think we want to move out of the apartment into something bigger-" she starts off

"Oh," I say cutting her off and I feel my heart drop

"Cam down Aves, we want you to come with us!"

"Really!?" I ask

ARE YOU READY TO GO? Billie says when I walk down the stairs, slinging my purse over my shoulder, 

I found a denim skirt amongst Billie's jeans, and to be honest, I can't remember the last time I wore a skirt, I then slipped on a white oversized sweatshirt tucking it into the skirt, lacing my dirty white tennis shoes.

"Yeah," I say she turns to me, and I half-smile

"Wow, you look really pretty," she says and a memory shocks my system knocking the breath out of me

...

"Are your eyes closed?" I called out to him, I'm wearing a new dress and denim jacket Billie, and Ally helped me pick out that the other day.

"Yes love" he replies and I peek my head out of the door and down the stairs, where Grayson has his back turned to me, and I giggle, stepping into the hallway

"I'm coming down now," I say to him, and I skip down the stairs, when I reach the bottom, wrap my arms around him, kissing his cheek. He turns around and looks at me, his eyes trailing my body.

"Wow, you look really pretty Avie," he says scooping my in his arms"

...

"Are you okay?" Billie then says slowly

"I uh don't know, but I have 3 girls that need their mother" I reply

"Okay then," Billie says and she grabs my hand "Let's go, we have so much to buy," she says and my phone vibrates again, and it's a text from Grayson

- okay, I love you avery.

His message hurts so much. Every time he says he loves me, I want to cry. I hate this. For a second I thought he was my forever.

I sigh and shove my phone in my back pocket, and walk down the driveway, and into Billie's care which is parked on the road, I slide in the passenger seat, whilst she gets in and I turn the music on super loud. She starts the car and turns the music down

"Hey!" I was listening to that I exclaim

"Now you're not," she says "I have a question to ask you"

"Yes..." I say apprehensive

"I know it's only been a week-"

"Bill, I'm not-" I say cutting her off but she cuts me off

"Listen!"

"Okay!"

"Michael and I were talking, and we think we want to move out of the apartment into something bigger-" she starts off

"Really!?" I ask

"YES! You should really listen, anyways we were thinking of talking to Ally and Jake about this too, but I wanted to know if you saw a future with Grayson, because you forgave him last time and we don't want to get a house with you, and you know..."

"Look Bill, The girls and I would be delighted to come, but I'm not sure about Gray, at the moment thinking about him hurts, and I don't want to talk about it..."

"Fine! it's settled!"
