Jennie and Jisoo were shivering as they stepped back into their apartment, soaked to the bone from the sudden outpour of rain.
Jennie's teeth chattered as Jisoo set the takeout on the counter. They'd used Jennie's jacket to keep it safe and dry, sacrificing themselves at Jisoo's behest.
Jisoo wordlessly began stripping down to her underwear, leaving her wet clothes in a pile by the door. Jennie watched, eyes widened.
"Stay put." Jisoo managed, stumbling to their bedroom in her soaked underwear.
Jennie waited impatiently as Jisoo returned, carrying armfuls of towels and dry clothes for the both of them, hurrying.
"Jen, strip!" Jisoo reprimanded, moving to help her.
"Sorry." Jennie shook her head, moving to do as Jisoo advised, hurriedly stripping as Jisoo handed her a hoodie and sweats.
"Towel off first." Jisoo all but shoved the towel in her hand.
Jennie glanced up at her. "Relax." She offered.
"Jen, you're shaking and I feel guilty because the food-"
Jennie laughed, throwing her head back, and Jisoo's heart did somersaults at the sound.
"Jisoo, it's okay-"
"DRY. OFF." Jisoo huffed, moving to towel off Jennie herself. "You're not getting sick."
"Being cold doesn't equal catching a cold." Jennie pointed out mildly. "Besides, I don't know where the rain came from. It was fine, and then...bam. Lightning and thunder and...this. In Los Angeles. We're all going to die, it's a flood." Jennie teased.
"A perfect halloween omen." Jisoo mumbled, slipping into her own dry clothes as Jennie did the same.
"Are you good?" Jisoo sighed, basking in the warmth of their clothing, once they'd gotten the wet heap of clothing into a basket.
"I'm great. I just-"
"Here!" Jisoo grinned, fishing out a hair tie and Jennie's glasses from her pocket. "I know, you like to be sexy lazy and put your hair into a bun and wear your glasses."
Jennie smiled softly at Jisoo's thoughtfulness, and then blinked. "Wait. Sexy lazy? What's that?"
"You don't have an ugly look." Jisoo shrugged. "Your laziness is...sexy."
Jennie shook her head. "You must be in love." She tsked, moving to put her hair up.
"I am."
"And hungry, since you didn't want to wait five minutes for me to do this in the bedroom." Jennie chuckled.
Jisoo rolled her eyes. "You know me too well." She moved to set the takeout on the coffee table in front of the couch.
"Do you ever feel old?" Jisoo asked, moving about to get some napkins.
