I had planned to come home a day early. Adam and I had planned previously to meet up at his house, however if I had left the day I had originally planned to, the flight would have been delayed due to weather.

So if course, me being me, decided to not tell Adam yet.

Once I arrived at y/n's house, she and a boy, who I am assuming is her boyfriend, told me to follow them over to his house. Adam was supposed to be there, so if course, I agreed.

I had secretly liked Adam since we met in grade school. We got to know each other very well and became best friends. We were inseparable. Then we met y/n. I have always been jealous of the way Adam acts towards her,.but I don't want that to ruin our friendship, so I never say anything.

Besides, she has a boyfriend.

I walk inside the house and sit next to the two.
"Jane, this is James. James. This is my best friend Jane that I was telling you about earlier." She gave me a huge hug. " it's so great to see you again" I smiled at them. "right back at you!" I practically squealed with excitement . I was so happy I was moving here. It was perfect.

Soon, there was a knock on the door. I knew who it was, but I was scared to see him. He made my stomach flutter every time I saw him or even thought about him for that matter.
He walked in with the biggest grin when he saw y/n. I knew he would. But when we looked at me, he looked like he wanted to cry.
Damn, was I that ugly?.
He practically ran over to me and tackled me in a hug.
Guess not....
"God, I've missed you so much Jane!" He made me blush furiously . Oh, the things he made me feel.
"I've missed you too, buddy" I said, trying to catch my breath. James and y/n were snickering in the background.

"movie anyone?" James spoke up. Adam released me from my hug and sat down beside me.
" Me! " We all yelled together, causing a fit of laughter from everyone.

James grabbed the remote and put on Netflix, putting on (f/m) for us to watch.

Adams arm found its way around my waist in a short amount of time.
I blushed, but the room was dark, so he couldn't see it. I was glad he couldn't either.
James and y/n were snuggled together in the love seat next to the couch me and Adam were sitting on. They are so adorable.

I soon felt my eyelids grow heavy.from exhaustion. My head slumped into his shoulder. And there I was, asleep on my crush.
