Seeing A Difference

James POV

I always knew she was anorexic. I was thinking about talking to Jaiden and asking for help. But the amount of awkwardness that would be emitted would be insane. I would hate leaving y/n alone though.

let's just say I haven't made up my mind yet.

However, before I can do anything. I have to get better. I should be getting better, but there are only slight differences here and there. I might feel wonderful one day and feel like utter hell the next.

But no matter what, y/n has been by my side all day, everyday, every night. Words can't express how thankful I am. I also feel extremely guilty.

"Hey James, how are you feeling?" Y/ n asked me as she walked over to the side of the couch. I smiled.
"Much better. I just wish I could get better sooner. It's driving me crazy we can't hang out." She giggled. What was funny?
" Then what have we been doing silly? We've been hanging out. " I grinned sheepishly.
"My bad..." We both laugh. I had missed her laugh so much. She looked miserable this whole week.

I sat myself upright, allowing y/n to sit next to me on the couch. I felt her lay her head on my shoulder. It fit almost perfectly in the crease of my neck. I felt her smile as my cheeks grew red. Even if we hadn't left the house in a week, my feelings for her were way stronger than before. She has no idea what she does to my heart when I catch a glimpse of her.
My skin burns at her touch, leaving me almost speechless. She is just; what's the word?

Perfect.

"Y/n?" I asked, starting a conversation.
"James?" She asked back in a playful way.
" Do you still like me? " I questioned.
Her face grew red as she became tense on my shoulder.
"Y-Yes....?" She stuttered. I smiled.
"Good. That what I wanted to know." I grinned at her, knowing she was flustered.
I have done my job well..

A few days later

I'm much better now. I'm able to leave the house again, and much more importantly, I can hang out with y/n more.
I smiled down at her as she looked into my eyes.
"Like what you see?" I asked in a cocky tone.
She nodded, kissed my nose, and ran off. Leaving me to be a flustered mess.
God, she kills me.
