SOMEONE I KNOW

Sana's POV

Flashback:5

"I wish for this moment to stop and never pass!" I said,resting my head on his right shoulder.His right arm was around my waist while he twisted and turned my ring with the other.We are meeting after two weeks as he went to attend a conference in Bangalore.

It was a cheerful sunday.We were sitting on a wooden bench at the sidewalks of Bessy beach.The crispy summer breeze blew his hair beautifully making it even more ruffled and spoiled mine(in doing which I spent hours!).

He looked dashing in a indigo shirt with only one red stripe running vertically on it and a dark grey jean.I don't know why a thought about how did he looked as a child suddenly crossed my mind.Maybe because his ruffled hair always give him a notorious toddler look.I was wearing a black denim paired with a yellow printed t-shirt.After the wind spoiling my hairstyle,I let it loose.

Suddenly he turned towards me and asked,

"Do you want to see my all time favourite place?I guess I have not taken you there yet."

"No.You didn't.I wish to go there with you someday."

"Why not now?!"

"Yeah..I thought the same.Lets go?!"

After 10 minutes of driving,he said,

"Can you even guess what place it could be?!"

I pretended to be seriously thinking.

"Is it a restaurant?!"I asked.He just nodded indicating I was wrong.

"Theme park?shopping mall?A farm house?your house?your college?!"

He glared at me with a half smile.

"No darling.You can never guess.But am sure you are gonna love that place."

"Come on..Tell me..please...can't take the suspence!"I said pleading.Then after a minute of silence I turned my head towards the window with mock anger.

"You don't have to.We are already here."

After parking,we walked a little distance.Then again he asked the same question.

"Can you guess atleast now as we are here already?!"

"Hmmm..no.I have never been to this place."I said.

"Okay.Fine..lets go."

We walked hand in hand slowly towards a building which looked like a fort.

"Is this a museum?!"I asked like a 5 year old.He laughed.

"No..no..darling..Look closer."

It was then I noticed that its a church,a holy cross on the top and we were standing at a somewhat higher altitude.I could see the whole city from there.Tall and big architecture looked surprisingly tiny.How did I missed climbing to the top?Maybe It was when I started pleading him.Anyways,the view was stunning.I just loved the serenity prevailed there.

He was standing beside me,holding my hand and looking at me intently.

"This is St.Thomas mount!Built during British period.One of the best places to have a full city view.Do you like it dear?!"

"Ofcourse!I'am just in love with it!"I said smiling from ear to ear.He reciprocated.

"Arshad,do you come here often?"

"Sometimes when I feel like painting or reading.At times to see sunrise or sunset.Also when I feel a bit lonely."

"Hmmmm...Can we also see inside of the church?"
