That 'Hai' made me stand as if am petrified,very scared to look back.Zahra was trying hard to resist the smirk but apparently failed.

He came forward and leaned on the chair casually.

"Hai...Is it always this way or only with me?!Last time also you didn't return my greetings and this time too.Anyways;do you remember me?"

I stood there under his spell,unable to take my eyes off him.

"No..no..Nothing.Its just...ya..I remember..Uh..Hai...How come you...here..?!" I was stammering like an idiot in front of him which ,I know ,is gonna haunt me my entire life.

"Just casual outing with friends for a movie.What about you?!"

"Oh..Just the same.Hmmm..Then hows life?!" I preferred asking instead of answering.

"Yup..Going on.Same routine.How about yours?"

"Almost the same.But a lil interesting than yours.Am taking a photography class after college and am in love with it..!"

"Wow!!Thats really interesting!I love art in every form but painting is my spoilt child."He smiled.

"I know and once again thank you for that portrait."I said with a wide grin.

"Oh really?!You know that?!But there is something which you don't know about me and thats really inportant."He said with a half smile which tempted me to kiss him then and there.

"Uh..Whats that?"I asked really confused.

"Guess what..If you make a correct or atleast a close attempt,you will get a special gift."

"What if I don't even try?!"I asked.

"Ah..Thats not fair!"He said in a playful tone.

I remained silent.He came a little closer and I can hear his heart pounding against his ribs which was immediately muffled by my own heartbeat.

He then said,"I don't know whether this is the correct place or time.But I don't care now.I don't wanna lose this chance and regret it for the rest of my days.I..I just wanna say that..I like you very much.It may look insane or ridiculous but am damn serious about it coz I haven't felt this way for anyone ever in my life.Am sorry if I made you uncomfortable or put you in an awkward position."

He looked straight in my eyes and I immediately lowered mine.I know that those eyes have some mesmerising power and if I take a chance,then am going to lose myself in it.Even though I stood there all calm and composed,I was jumping up and down with joy within my heart of hearts.

"Mmm..I don't know what to say.We have met only once and we know nothing about each other.."

I said hiding my smile.He noticed.

"Oh really?!You don't know what to say?!Thats fine.You don't have to say anything.I can understand..But please do me a favour.Take one more class to train your cheeks not to blush in situations like this." He laughed.

I blushed even more.

"No..No..please..I can already understand that you are not interested in me." He teased.

"Well..then..Lemme think about it."I said now utterly failing to subside my laughter.

"Please don't take that trouble as I already know your answer."

"Excuse me?"I said astonished.

"Will you go out with me?!"

"Hmmm..I guess...yes!"

"yaayyyy!!"

Imagine what..After about 30 minutes I noticed that Zahra is missing and I failed to even realise a 5'2 person missing.I looked for her but couldn't find.

He searched for something inside his pocket and took out a small parcel wrapped with red gift wrapper and handed it to me.

"Red is my favourite colour.Thats why I told you not to blush.And one more thing,I bought this the day we met for the first time.I somehow knew that we will meet again.So I kept it inside my pocket and carried it wherever I went."

I was surprised,not by the gift,but by the feeling.Me too had the same feeling that we will definitely meet again.

"Thank you.Wait..I will open it."

I slowly unwrapped the paper and opened the velvet box inside.There was a deep red diamond bracelet.

I was taken aback.After admiring it for a few minutes I said,

"Wow.Its pretty.I like it very much."

"My pleasure"His hazel green eyes twinkled.

"What if we never met again?!"

"Nothing would have changed.I would have kept it always with me in memory of the girl who made me feel lively and the first girl who conquered my heart in the very first sight."

I felt the honesty in his words.Overcoming all my inner conflicts,finally I hugged him for the first time.He held me like am something fragile,gently and lovingly.

Now I failed to realise a 5'2 person reappearing.

"Guys...sensor!Cut it!!"Zahra said controlling her giggle.

I was embarrassed beyond limits,but he was cool.I was speechless.After giving me a puzzled look,Zahra spoke.

"Hai.Am Zahra.Sana's friend.Unfortunately she forgot who I am and also her basic manners to introduce her friends to someone she know."she said sarcastically.

"Hahahaha....Yeah I agree with you.By the way,Hai.Am ARSHAD."
