Lucy entered the city of Civitas In Caelum and could see many angels fly about in mass panic. Clouds were sparse and nervous chatter filled the skies.
"So, he actually did do it. This is horrible..."
"Lucy you're finally back home!" Talai exclaimed with relief, he was now flying by her side "I was about to go get you and let you know what happened..."
They landed just a few feet away from her house, Lucy let out a depressing sigh and faced him.
"Yeah, the person who did this told me and I had to make sure he just wasn't messing with me. Turns out, he was right...I'm so glad to see you're alright, Tal."
"I'm sorry that you had to come back home because of something like this." He rubbed his head "I was hoping you returned on your own free time and maybe stay for a bit."
"I'd like to but I can't stay home just yet." Lucy gave him a warm hug and Talai embraced it in return "There are things I need to do and right now I gotta check on my family."
"Of course, do what you have to, Lucy."
He saw her leave him and enter her house, Talai then turned away and flew off into the chaos. Lucy made her way into the living room and calmly spoke to them.
"Mom, Dad, Sis...?"
"Big sis!" Yori ran into her and was smiling with delight "You're okay! I'm thankful you aren't hurt!"
"Hey, little sis." Lucy gently patted her head "Where's mother and father at?
Without warning, she got a surprise hug from both of them. Clara repeatedly kissed her cheeks and was crying from sheer joy.
"Oh, my baby is finally back home! Yori's told us about your many adventures and we're so proud of you!"
"You gotta tell us everything that's happened while on earth." Lux gave a proud smile and firmly rubbed her back "Yori gave us a teaser and we're greatly intrigued by your adventures."
"Well, where do I even begin?" She grinned at them and let go of them finally "There's so much I have to tell you all."
"You're here because of what happened right?" Yori asked curiously to her sister "The deities and archangels were wiped out from that mysterious person. It's terrible to imagine what he could've done to us."
She quietly nodded and rubbed a strand of hair in front of her face.
"...I wanted to get stronger for the sake of proving my worth to them. Now, they're gone and there's hardly any other reason besides protecting my friends and family."
"It's okay, you've done so much already." Clara placed her hands on Lucy's arms and gave an exciting grin You've proved enough of your worth, from what we've heard. You made quite a lot of friends on earth."
Lucy felt relaxed with her family's support and chuckled at them.
"That person, he acted as if I was just a speck of dirt. If anything, that just makes me want to get stronger and beat that guy. He can't go destroy innocent lives as he sees fit, I'll show him that."
"That's my girl, always keep striving for greatness." Lux gave her a wink "Whoever did this, they will remember your fiery ambition for sure!"
"Don't worry, Dad, I'm gonna make sure he will. I hate to leave so quickly but my friends back on earth are waiting for me. I'll have to introduce you two to them sometime!"
Lucy began heading for the door in a hurry until she heard someone approach her.
"W-Wait Lucy, I'm, I'm going with you!"
