i woke up way earlier than i usually do. the worst part was, was that I was having a good dream and I woke up at the best part.
4:35 am
i tried to go back to sleep and try to go back to the dream, but i couldn't. i flung my feet off the bed and got ready for school that was in like three hours.
i walked downstairs and saw grayson sitting by himself on the dining table.
"hey bro what's up" i said scaring him a little
"oh hey e, nothin"
"why you up so early?" i said
"i don't know i couldn't go to sleep. anyway i need to talk to you"
i went over and sat next to him.
"yeah?"
"so kayla and i want you and emma to go on a double date with us. we aren't dating but we're friends and we thought it'd be cool."
i paused for a second thinking of all the good things that could happen.
"when is it?"
"it's friday night"
"yeah sure, i'll ask emma today at school and tell you what she says"
grayson nodded and went over to get cereal.
this would be a perfect time to make them jealous
emma -
i hopped out of bed so happily. i didn't know why i was so happy. it was just that kind of day.
i got to school and searched around for ethan. i usually searches for grayson first thing but for some reason i looked for ethan first.
when i saw him, i ran up to him and gave him a hug from behind.
"hi e"
he turned around and smiled
"hi em, so grayson and kayla are friends and gray invited us to have a double date with them, but don't worry, they're just friends not dating"
i laughed.
"okay when is it?"
"friday night"
i nodded and the bell rang. we both walked our separate ways.

"wear this one"
emma and i were struggling to find which dress i should wear for the date on friday
"no e this one looks so bad on me"
"emma you look so good in that dress what do you mean?!"
"we'll just find one to wear later. we have to start our homework. and your game is tonight! i'm so excited"
i laughed
"i'll drive you?"
she nodded as we went downstairs to get our homework

"wooooo" i looked out into the crowd after i scored a touchdown and saw emma on her feet screaming.
i smiled at her and continued to play till halftime.
we all ran inside to the locker rooms.
"great job dolan" my coach said behind me patting my back.
not to long after, audrey came running in
"ethan emmas throwing up i'm gonna take her home but i don't have a car, can i borrow your car"
"is she okay?"
"yeah but can i use your car?"
i looked around
"i'll take her. where is she?"
"ethan you have to finish the game"
"it's fine just, where is she"
audrey sighed
"outsides the girls bathroom"
"gray go tell coach i had to go home because something happened"
"where are you going e the games about to start"
"i'll tell you later just make up an excuse! i'm gonna come back!" i said running out the door
i walked out and saw emma siting on the floor
"emma?"
