"no i'm gonna take you home, i'll come back after i get you home"

we got in my car and turned on the music.
once we got home i sat with emma on the couch

"where were you?! you said that you were gonna come back"

"audrey could've taken her home" he started
"coach is gonna be so mad at both of us now!"
i gave him side eye.
"okay okay. is emma gonna spend the night?"
emma would always spend the night here or i would spend the night at her house even when it was a school night because we basically lived at each other's houses.

"want me to take her up to your room? i'm already going upstairs"
i looked down at emma and then back up at grayson. i knew that if i told her that grayson took her up she'd be so happy. plus emmas so tiny that it's easy to hold her
