Emma -
i woke up in a familiar bed.
i turned around and saw ethan sleeping at the edge of the bed. the bed was big enough for us to both sleep there.
6:46 am
"ethan wake up"
he slowly turned around with puffy sleepy eyes.
"hi" he said with a raspy voice
"lets go to school early for fun"
he turned back around and ignored me as a joke
"ee come onnn" i said holding each ending letter
i jumped on him and shook him around until he finally got up
we both got up and got ready for school
we drove to school and sang out hearts out to rex orange county.
we got to school and parked in the parking lot.
we were running through the hallways laughing.
but then i saw a familiar face. and so did ethan. he immediately stopped laughing
"what's kayla doing here at this time"
once he saw she was looking he grabbed me and kissed me. i quickly pulled away
"e what are you doing" i whispered
"the plan, she's looking" he tried to kiss me again and refused once i saw her walk away.
"emma what's wrong"
"it just took me by surprise i guess that you just kissed me"
"sorry"
it got really awkward. and it kinda upset me because we were having so much fun before, and now we had to pretend to be dating. and i know that was the plan and we've been kissing this whole week but.. i don't know.
everyone started coming and i walked away from him realizing that his hands were on my waist the whole time. usually i was ticklish when someone touched my waist, but not this time.
"emma"
"talk to you at lunch. bye"
the whole first two periods were so slow, but when lunch finally rolled around, it felt slower.
i walked though the hallways seeing ethan as usual. i gave him a little smile to indicate that i wasn't mad. and he smiled back.
"i'm not mad" i said as he came running up to me.
"okay, do you still wanna do our little thingy? gray and kayla are both there" he asked
"yeah"
we walked towards the tables joining the conversation.
grayson and kayla both stopped talking as we sat down.
"hi guys" grayson said
"hey"
"so kayla and i were gonna hangout tonight and we were wondering if you guys wanted to come"
i looked over at ethan, who had a huge smile on his face.
"sure" we both said in sync
we continued lunch talking about the plan for tonight and where we'd go.
ethan and i held hands under the table. the touch of his hand felt so warm and soft
