ethan and i sat there for a while just talking while it got darker, and once it was completely dark, we layed on the floor and looked at the stars.
"that one looks like a pig" ethan said with a laugh. i laughed along. my head started to ache as i laughed. i ignored it. i had been having headaches that progressively gotten worse, and i thought it was always cause of how sad or stressed i was.
i stopped laughing and turned my head to his.
"i miss this.. a lot" i said. ethan smiled and wiped the tear i had coming down my cheek that i didn't even know i had. "me too." he said back.
and i did miss this. i missed being able to hangout with ethan. after all he was my best friend.
"we should probably get going, it's getting dark."
i agreed. as i tried to get up, it felt as if a pressure was holding me down. my head was aching and my whole body felt limp. i fell. in what felt like a never ending rabbit hole.

"well is she gonna be okay" i asked.
"we just need to do some CT scans to see what's going on. it's probably just headaches." the doctor said.
i nodded my head and texted emmas mom. i immediately rushed back to her room. she still was asleep. "hey em, i know you can't hear me, but i'm here. i love you"
i kissed her on the forehead and held her tiny hand in mine. even though this could just be something minor, i've always been scared of the little things. no matter what it was, i would always go to extreme amounts to make sure she's okay.
*ding*
sophia: ethan! is emma okay? what's happening? i'm all the way in london for a business trip
ethan: hi, everything is okay, she fainted and she's now in the hospital. i didn't think of anything else to do, i was so scared
sophia: no! you did the right thing, please please keep me updated
ethan: of course
i started to rethink taking her to the hospital. i could've just taken her home and stayed with her. the ambulance costs money and it's probably nothing. i didn't want them to have to pay for this.
"mr dolan? hi i'm dr. williams. can you tell me what happened?"
"yes, we were just watching the stars and as soon as we tried to get up she fainted, i couldn't get her up for a while so i panicked"
"okay, we're just gonna do some scans, so sit tight."
they took emma in her hospital bed and rushed her out. i didn't know why she still hasn't woken.
