Hotel Transylvania 2: Feat. Joey

Chapter 16

"Guys, we gotta move!" Drac panicked. "We have no car!" "You should have just stayed away from the tower," Joey said as he tossed Dennis into the air and caught him multiple times. The little boy laughed while his uncle played with him. "Don't worry, Drac," Griffin said. "I made a call." Suddenly, Blobby arrived on the rascal. "I'm sorry, Blobby," Drac said. "We really meant to call you sooner." The Drac Pack then climbed onto the rascal with Blobby while Joey stood beside it with Dennis in his arms. "Drac, there's no way we're going to get home fast enough if we're all riding on that," Joey said. "Dennis and I are just going to walk beside you." "Suite yourselves," Drac said. "Hit it!" The rascal then started moving at a snail's speed.
Meanwhile at the Santa Cruz Airport
"Transylvania," Mavis said. "You wanna go where?" Asked the lady behind the counter. Transylvania," Mavis repeated. "As soon as possible." "We don't fly direct to Transylvania," the lady said. "You don't?" Mavis asked in shock. "You can fly to Bucharest," the lady said, "but then you'll have to switch planes in Chicago and then Zurich." "So, when would we get there?" Mavis asked desperately. "Well, the Chicago flight's delayed due to bad weather," the woman said before Mavis growled at her. "So, 2 seats in couch?" "No!" Mavis said before pulling out the poncho. "No," Johnny said nervously. "Yes," Mavis said.
Later in Transylvania
"Are we there yet?" Dennis mumbled. "Not yet, kiddo," Joey said as he kissed the little boy on the cheek. Dennis then fell asleep in his arms. Joey smiled before hugging him and rubbing the back of his head again. Blobby then murmured something to Drac. "You have to go now?"  He asked. "When we finally have no traffic? You're killing me, Blobby!" "It's a good thing Dennis is asleep," said Joey.
Meanwhile in the sky
"I still have some cloud on me," Johnny said. "Gotta do a selfie." "Johnny!" Mavis shouted. "Not now!" "Okay," Johnny said. "Maybe later."
Back in Transylvania
The rascal suddenly ran out of gas. "This scooter thing's out of juice!" Drac exclaimed. "Frank, blow."  Frank then started blowing air into Blobby. Drac then used his powers to lift Joey and  Dennis onto Blobby. "You might want to let me hold onto Dennis," Drac said. "You're going to need your hands free so you can hold on something." Joey nodded and handed Dennis to Drac. "Wake up, Dennisovich," Drac said. Dennis then woke up and yawned. "Are we home yet?" Dennis mumbled. "We will be soon, sweetie," said Drac as he kissed Dennis on the forehead. "Now!" Frank then let go of Blobby and caused him to fly forward at Sonic the Hedgehog's speed. Dennis then started laughing. "How fun is this? Why are you laughing? You like that" Drac asked as he tickled little Dennis making him laugh even more. "Watch this." Drac then started tickling Blobby causing him to start flying out of control and also causing Murray to fall off. Luckily, Frank was able to catch him. "Now this is flying, Dennisovich," Drac said. "Like a vampire," Dennis said before Drac held him out like he was flying. "Weeeeeeeeee!" That's my boy," Drac said. "Look at you go." Dennis then giggled and spread out his arms like wings. "You're the coolest guy who wears a cape, Papa Drac," Dennis said.

A few moments later, they landed outside the hotel. After they landed, Drac handed Dennis to Joey and called Mavis. "So, hey, when are you going to get here already?" Drac asked. "We've been waiting..." Drac gasped when he saw his daughter standing in front of him. "Give me my son!" She demanded. "We just went out for some avocados," Drac lied. "Mommy, I flew!" Dennis exclaimed. "I saw," Mavis said before pulling out her phone.

Drac looked down sadly. Joey then put Dennis down allowing him to run to his mom and hug her. "I was worried that Dennis wasn't safe around monsters," Mavis said. "Now I don't even feel like he's safe around you." "But I was just..." Drac tried to say before Mavis cut him off. "What was it you said?" She asked. Human, monster, unicorn. That it didn't matter." "I just know his life would..." Drac tried to say but Mavis cut him off again. "We'll have his birthday party here on Wednesday," Mavis said. "Then we're moving." "Please, Mavey," Drac said. "Don't leave." "Maybe you've let humans into your hotel, Dad," Mavis said, "but I don't think you let them into your heart." Mavis then picked Dennis up and walked away. Johnny looked at Drac with a sad look on his face and followed her into the hotel. "You really messed up, Drac," Joey said. "Now you're paying the price." Joey then walked into the hotel behind his brother.
