Later that night
Johnny and Joey were playing with Dennis while Mavis was explaining to Drac everything he needed to know for taking care of Dennis. "So it's sliced avocado, rolled oats with apricot, the Aveeno moisturizer after every bath." "And then the Shea Butter on his tush before his pjs," Drac said, "and then 20 minutes with the nebulizer while I read his Learning Factory Phonics book to him." "It's asking a lot Dad," Mavis said. "We could just take Dennis with us." "What, are you kidding me? And get him off his routine?" Drac asked as Johnny handed Dennis over to Mavis. "No, no, no. You 2 go to California and see if it's the right place to raise Dennisovich." "I think I should be the one taking care of Dennis," Joey said. "I have a lot more experience in his routine. Also, it helps me practice for when I become a father." "Are you sure?" Mavis asked. Joey nodded. Mavis smiled and hugged him. "You remember how to video chat," she said. "Right Dad?" "Yes," Drac said. "With the phone, and the buttons, and the agony." "Thanks for being so understanding," Mavis said. "I know you and Joey will keep him safe." "Of course, Mavey," Drac said. "Stake my heart and hope to die." Mavis then put Dennis down. "I'm just gonna miss him so much," she said as she placed her hands on Dennis's cheeks and kissed him on the nose. "I love you Dennis." Dennis then kissed her on the nose too. "I love you, Mommy," he said softly. Joey smiled as he picked Dennis. "I'll tell him Mavey-Wavey stories every night before bed," said Drac as he touched Dennis's nose. "You're the best," Mavis said as she hugged Drac. "I love you Dad."

Johnny then walked over and hugged Drac tightly. "I'm going to miss all of you guys. You're all my family," Johnny said emotionally. "Love you Drac!" "Yes, I love you too," Drac said with a fake grin. "Now, remember the plan. Just keep her distracted and happy, but not too happy. Capisce?" "Got it. Operation 'Just Keep Her Distracted and Happy but Not Too Happy. Capisce?' starts now," Johnny whispered. "Cool?" "Smiling on the outside," Drac whispered back. "Will you hug my backpack?" Johnny asked. "No," Drac replied. "Hey, Johnny," Joey said as he walked over to his brother and handed Dennis back to him. "Don't forget about Dennis." Johnny smiled and gave his little boy a hug. "I'll be back before you know it, son," Johnny said as he kissed Dennis on the cheek. "I love you." "I love you too Daddy," Dennis said as Johnny handed him to Drac.

Drac, Joey and Dennis waved goodbye to Mavis and Johnny as the hearse left for the airport. "Back to bed," Dennis mumbled while rubbing his eyes. "Ah, yes. We'll get to the bed. We all love the bed," Drac said, "but we're just going to do one thing first." Suddenly, another hearse pulled in. "Drac, maybe we should do this tomorrow," Joey said as he took Dennis from him. "The poor kid is tired." "But the hearse is here now," Drac said, "and we need to get his fangs out before it's too late." "We have plenty of time, and it's better to put the kid's needs first," Joey said as he walked back into the hotel. "C'mon, buddy," said Joey. "Let's go get you ready for bed."
A few minutes later
Drac entered the Loughran's room and noticed that nobody was there. "Dennis? Joey? Where are you?" He asked. "We're in the bathroom," Joey replied. "I'm putting Dennis's Shea Butter on him." "At least that gives me time to get Dennis's nebulizer and book," Drac whispered to himself. "You know I can hear you, right?" Joey asked. "Also, I brought those in with me. You're going to try harder than that to get your way." Joey then came out carrying Dennis who was now fully dressed in his pajamas. He was also holding Dennis's nebulizer and book. "Alright," Joey said. "Just say goodnight to Dennis and we'll discuss the plan in the morning." "Fine," Drac pouted as he kissed Dennis goodnight. "I love you Dennisovich." "Love you to Papa Drac," Dennis said as Drac left the room and said, "Time for plan B." "I can still hear you," Joey said.
25 minutes later
Joey finished using the nebulizer on Dennis and reading his book to him. Then he picked him up off his lap and hugged him and gently rubbed the back of his head. "I love you Dennis," said Joey as he placed his nephew in bed and tucked him in. "I love you too Uncle Joey," Dennis said softly. Joey smiled and kissed Dennis on the cheek. Joey then left the room to see Dracula holding a Dennis-sized vampire robe. "You're not gonna stop until I say yes," Joey said. "Are you?" "Nope," Drac said. "Fine,"Joey said as he pulled out his phone. "I'll call the guys."
