CAPTURED

"What are you talking about? Xander?" Black suited men stalk toward us.

"Get behind me, Sky."

"Why the hell should I? Partners are equals!"

"Sky I mean it. We don't know if these men are dangerous."

"No!"

"Don't make me resort to force."

"You have absolutely no right to threaten me!" Suddenly we are approached by the intimidating men. I reach for my gun, but Xander grabs my hand and eyes me not to give my weapon away. The first man takes off his shades. He's really not a man, more like an egoistic maniac.

"Sky, how lovely to see you on this occasion."

"Liam, how disgusting to see you on this horrific occasion." He gives me a cocky smile and stalks toward me with arrogance.

"You've become slightly more feisty than last time." He brushes my cheek with his fingers gently. "Don't get me wrong it certainly does increase your likeability." He fingers my chin. Xander steps up behind me. His chest brushes my back and leaves me standing there with shivers.

"Sky, you know him?"

"Sadly, yes."

"No need to be so harsh, sweetheart."

"Don't you dare call me that, you arrogant bastard!" I kick him hard in the stomach as he clutches his stomach I whip out my gun and stick it to his temple.

"Nuh uh uh, darling." He syas as he leans in close to my ear. "I've got you surrounded with 12 snipers, so if you shoot, I shoot. Perfect isn't it?"

"What do you want from me?" I state with fear.

"Oh nothing...other than your love if that is still there to offer, but my client does need something to do with you."

"And what would that be exactly?" Xander grinds out as he keeps a protective hand on my shoulder.

"That would be classified."

"This person wants me killed. Don't they?" My voice wavers a little as I state my hypothesis. Xander squeezes my shoulder. Liam gives me a sympathetic look and then he frowns as he glances at the position of Xander's hands.

"Unfortunately, your assumption is correct and you will need to come with me."

"She's not going anywhere." Xander growls at Liam.

"Oh really, now? How do you plan to stop me?" Liam steps away from my gun as he and Xander start to argue. Then I realize something. We are in an open field. There is nowhere for snipers to hide and get a direct shot. As I see movement in the lone bush, I realize Liam is bluffing. There is only one sniper in the vicinity. I quickly dash to the tree and take cover as I aim my gun at him and shoot. BANG! The bullet hits him as I hear a groan and run up to Liam as I place the barrel to his head.

"You damn bluffed. How smart for an imbecile."

"Such kind words. "

"You bluffed! You. Bluffed. Why? Why the heck would you bluff?"

"Just because I bluffed doesn't mean I can't do what I came here to do."

"And just, what the hell is that?"

"Oh just this..." Just as I begin to phrase another question I feel the sting of a needle in my side and I stumble back in pain.

"What the hell did you stick her with?" Xander asks panicked. He grabs Liam and my vision turns hazy as I fall back.
