~Raven~
I straightened out my red lace peplum dress. I sat down on my bed and put on my red heels with a red bow on the back of them. Tre walked in and he was wearing a black Ralph Lauren dress shirt with a pair of black levi's and some oreo 5's.
"You look nice." I said to him. He looked down at his self then looked back at me.
"I always look nice. You look cute though." He said as he touched my poofy hair. It had gotten really curly since yesterday cause I put some leave in conditioner in my hair. I put on a light shade of pink lipstick on and applied some mascara. I was sitting at my black vanity and Tre was laid out on my bed watching music videos.
"What do you think he wants?" He asked.
"I don't even know. That man is just so unpredictable." I said as I plugged in the flat iron and tuned it on. I waited a minute for it to get hot then I put it to my hair and went to work.
"What if he got someone pregnant?" Tre said. We both looked at each other and busted out laughing. It was very possible that he had impregnated another woman and she somehow managed to talk him into letting her keep the baby. My father is a man thot. When I say this i'm not being mean, i'm being truthful. He gets with anyone and everyone he wants but you can assume that because of his occupation too. Druglords normally get what they want.
"Is it bad that we're bashing our own father like this?" I asked as I continued to laugh while I straightened my hair.
"Well, kinda but at the same time he deserves it. All that s*** he did? H*** yeah, but hes still our dad at the same time." Tre said nonchalantly.
"True. I just don't know what will happen when I actually see him." I said as I went to the other side of my head. After about ten minutes I finished and my straight hair was down my back. I looked at the time and it was 5:28. Great Passage was about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic.
"Should we go now?" I asked.
"Might as well. You wanna drive?" Tre asked.
"It's whatever." I said as I stood up and walked out the room with Tre following behind me. Nobody was home but me. Terrance was at the tattoo shop he worked at, Maleeah and Riley were at work, and Darious went with Trevor to a studio just to learn more about music and maybe, just maybe, show Trevor his talent. Tre handed me the keys to the car and I locked the house door. Once I got in the car, I took off my heels and put them on the floor in the backseat. After that I made sure hat we both had our seat belts buckled then I drove off. I listened to a whole bunch of Charlie Traplin and Chance the Rapper cause Tre had his phone hooked up to the radio. When we pulled up to the Restaurant it was just hitting 5:51. I retrieved my heels from the back seat, put them on, then followed Tre to the entrance. When the waitress at the front saw us, she looked kinda surprised to see us.
"Hello, welcome to Great Passage, where every journey is wonderful. Do you have a reservation?" she asked in a Trinidadian accent.
"Um, I'm not so sure. We are supposed to be meeting someone in here." Tre said.
"Okay, what's their name?" the waitress asked as she got out a book from underneath the podium type thing she was standing at.
"Big Mar, Marley, or Marley Ocean." Tre said. The waitress looked up from the book and got wide eyes. Tre and I looked at each other in confusion.
"You're his kids???" she asked? We both shook our heads yes. The girl soon came back to reality and hurried us to her side.
"Come on, follow me." she said as we walked close behind her. We walked into a room with many tables and chairs set up. A little bit more than half of them were taken. The waitress led us to the middle and there he was. My father was seated at a table directly in the middle. The table was like a circle and the chairs were in a triangular shape. The waitress hurried off to leave us staring at each other.
