After the strange encounter with Mr Edge and after he had left, Miss Luthor apologises to me before we make our way out of the school. I am bursting to the seams with question marks, unable to suppress my curiosity any further.

"First," I say matter of factly, the moment we emerge into the chilling outdoor air, the rain having calmed down to a light drizzle. It makes her look at me and raise an intimidating eyebrow. I sort of cower away.

"Who is Mr Henshaw and what has he got to do with you, Alex and Mr Edge?"

"That isn't my place to tell you," we walk past a gate leading us into the car park, "but what I can tell you is Mr Henshaw runs the FBI, which your sister works at."

I know that's a lie. Alex works at the DEO, but of course Miss Luthor doesn't know that. No one does. The FBI is just her cover story. Good, that means she doesn't know about me being Kryptonian.

"What has the FBI got to do with Mr Edge?" I ponder yet again,

"Let's just say he has history with them."

"And you?" I know it's a risky question, but my inquiries had gotten the better of me.

"You know my family," she trails off, gesturing mildly with her hands.

"What about you and Mr Edge?"

What is wrong with me? Just chill with the questions already.

"Our families have their history."

By the time I finish bombarding her with the load of questions I have, we reach her car.

I'm not an expert in cars, not a particular super-fan of them either like some people can be. But I know that this is a cool car.

It isn't the type of car I had expected my science teacher to have. Or any teacher to be precise- no offence. Yet again, she does have billionaires for family.

"Is this your car?" I all but gape at the sight, eyes widening as I take in the shiny object before me.

"Yeah." She replies, smiling as she glances from my expression to the car. She opens the door before sitting down inside the drivers seat.

I don't want to be rude, so I wait outside for a while, admiring the outside of the vehicle.

"You going to stay out there or come inside?" I hear a familiar voice ask from inside the car. "I promise it's more impressive in here."

I could've sworn I saw Miss Luthor smirk.

I open the car door before dropping my bag to the floor and sitting down upon the leather seat. She's right. The inside of the car is amazing. The seat feels like I'm sitting on air, it is so comfortable.

The journey is smooth. The car, I mean. The actual journey in itself is a different story altogether.

To begin with, it goes okay, I guess. She turns the radio on about halfway to my house and some song starts playing. I'm unsure of what song it is, but the lyrics say everything.

It's so awkward that I began to contemplate asking her to drop me off at a random house that's closer to escape the tension. I can even sense that she's finding it awkward.

To try and distract ourselves, I decide to ask a question which results in, thankfully, Miss Luthor turning down the volume so that she can hear me.

"So," I start, "how did you and Alex become friends?"

"Well," she doesn't take her eyes off the road, "is it a left here, did you say?"

"Yeah."

"Alex and I were the top of our class. We would hang out and study with each other. It all really went from there, I guess."
