Cleopatra: The new ninja

Chapter 7

Raph ran.

Running, good. Finding out that your crush prefers your baby brother, bad. Very bad.

Why else would she have k-k-kissed him?

Sure, she had to think of something, on the spot, to keep Mikey in the dark, but she kissed him.

She kissed him. And not him.

Poor Raph.

Raph ran right past Leo and Donnie. Leo had to run and catch up to him in order to get his attention.

"What's wrong? You look flustered."

"I AM NOT FLUSTERED!" yelled Raph, in a flustered fashion.

Master Splinter and April came up from their lesson.

"Raphael! Ninjas do not yell and attract the locals to them." Master Splinter gestured to the pizza guy who was looking up, curiously.

"...Okay, I might be a little flustered." Raphael whispered.

"What happened?" Asked Donnie.

"Well, Cleo ki-came up with the fact that... Um Mikey has a concussion!" Really close to saying the first thing on his mind, he quickly covered and said what he was supposed to say.

Leo pulled him away from the rest of them and whispered, "Just because something happened between you and Cleo, doesn't mean you have to scare the rest of us with a made up story."

Raph growled. "It's not made up! We have to hurry back!"

He ran off to the nearest man-hole. Leo looked after him, then looked back to the rest of the group. He shrugged and followed after Raph.

The rest slowly followed, unsure if Raph's sanity was stable.

Cleo had decided to be as far away from Mikey as possible. She sat in the corner of the room, waiting for Raph to come back. To beg for an apology. She would stay up all night if necessary.

Leo, Master Splinter, Donnie, and April all came in. Cleo perked up from her nap. She fell asleep. Right after her vow too.

"Did Raph tell you?"

"Yeah. Does Mikey really have a concussion?" Said Leo, truly believing that Mikey was perfectly fine.

"I believe so."

"I KNEW it!" Said Leo. "You did kiss Mik- Wait a minute..."

Cleo looked at him strangely.

Leo looked over at Mikey. "MIKEY HAS A CONCUSSION?!"

Leo, Donnie and April all rushed over to Mikey, while Master Splinter helped Cleo to her feet.

"Where's Raph?" She asked, as she looked around.

"He decided to wait outside for reasons unknown."

"Hmm..." Said Cleo, looking up toward the ladder, blushing.

"Did something happen between you and Raph?"

"No. No. Not between me and him." She said, glancing at Mikey, who was just waking up.

Mikey looked around at Donnie, Leo, and April confused. "Why are you all coming around my sleeping station? It's not like it's my sick bed!" He said with a laugh.

Leo looked over at Cleo. "You haven't told him-" In a flash, Cleo was next to him and covered his mouth. She slid her hand side to side at her neck, coughing.

"Guys! Shredder's over there! Quick, get him!"

Leo and Donnie drew their weapons, but all they saw was Cleo, shaking her head.
