Roman sighed, he wasn't looking forward to filming, today they were filming in a park. Not too bad. He nodded to himself as he walked onto set, suddenly regretting not bringing a jacket as he felt a cold rush of wind. He saw the simple black chair with his intials embroided into it, sitting in the chair. "Mr. Charm? We have some local makeup specialists who volunteered to help." Roman nodded, yawning and closing his eyes, hearing someone walk closer, he opened his eyes and got ready to introduce himself when he choked on air. "De? Is that you?" A small smirk from the other.
"Forget me already, playboy?" Roman was speechless, he could see the heart in the others beautiful blue eyes, and he could feel the anger, radiating in waves. De kept the eye contact, waiting, wanting, Roman to say anything, to apologize, but he was met with silence. He sighed, grabbing the gold headband, he put it on Romans head to keep the bangs away as he got started on Romans makeup. "Bye, Ro." He said quietly, Roman grabbed De's wrist, stopping him.
"Wait, c...can we go out tonight? Get a drink and catch up?" Roman was desperate, something he hadn't been in so long, but De had that affect on him, De wore him down, tore through all his walls without even trying.
"Yeah. We can." He wrote his number on a napkin, handing it to Roman.
The day of filming was too long in Romans opinion, and his crew already had their suspicions when Roman went silent during makeup instead of talking everyone's ear off, so him being off his game and excited to leave. It wasn't hard for the others to figure out he was going on a date.
Roman walked the now dark streets, approaching the brightly lit bar, he was nervous, despite saying that it's not a date over and over, "Still have my makeup on, I see. Good to know I'm good at my job." De walked up next to Roman, a sly smirk on his face.
"Why Of course you are! Only the best for Roman Prince after all!" Roman chuckled.
"Is that why you broke up with me? Only the best for you?" De walked into the bar, Romans reply getting lost in the wind. Silence took over again as the two sat down, taking several shots until the two were drunk and laughing their asses off at nothing.
"Y'know, I didn't wanna break up." Roman slurred, after hours of conversation about nothing. De went silent the topic enough to help sober him up, "I missed you so much." Roman started to lean closer, his eyes fluttering shut as he was inches away from De's lips. When he felt a hand on his chest. His eyes opened, showing the panicked, sad, De.
"Roman, I have a girlfriend." He said it so softly that it was a miracle Roman heard it. But it hurt all the same, De moved on.
Roman never did.
