They did find Patton, but not how they wanted to. Virgil was right, Patton was...gone.
Nobody talked about it for days. Roman was the last one who could talk to them and he could feel how Virgil was judging him,how every thought, every glance, was full of "It's your fault."
So Roman started to drown himself in his work, day after day, working and working, sooner they got this done sooner he could go hom- to California, it would never be home, this is home, but this...nobody wants him here, not his friends, not his ex-love, not his parents.
Roman yawned As he stumbled through the hallway, drunk off lack of sleep, he went to unlock the door to his hotel room but, it already was. He shook it off, must've forgotten to lock the door, still, he was cautious as he walked in.
Cautious until he heard the all too familiar giggle.
"Sammi." He groaned, loud and obnoxious, this girl has been texting him nonstop, bothering him, and now she broke into his apartment! Does she not understand that hes Roman Prince? Whatever he wants, he gets, that's just how it is.
He paused, he sounded like such a selfish brat...
"Ro-Ro! You here?" Sammi ran up to Roman, she was dressed beautifully, a white halter top with criss cross designs, showing off the entirety of her arms and the majority of her stomach, the criss cross designs melted into a white skirt with purple and blue flowers, flowly and elegant, right to her knees. The outfit showed off the tattoos of the solar system on her stomach, and matched her long black hair perfectly, especially with the golden headband she paired to contrast.
"Yes, I am, now why are you here?"
"to surprise you of course! Wanted to surprise my bestie." She spun around and Roman had to look away to avoid seeing under the skirt. "Go sit down and relax, I'll make you some coffee." Roman felt uncomfortable, but he listened, planning on texting De and telling him that his girlfriend must be high or something. So he sat, starting to pull out his phone before- "None of that now! Just lay down and relax."
"I rather not. Could you leave please? I'm tired and-" Roman was cut off.
"Come on! I know just how to put you to sleep." She placed herself in Roman's lap, Roman instantly pulled his hands away, trying to push her off without hurting her, she could use anything to hurt his reputation after all, "De wont find out, just one night, I wanna see if you're as good as everyone thinks you are." She giggled, leaning in to close the gap between their lips, and In a moment of panic, Roman yelled,
"I'm gay go away!" She stopped, pulling away with a look of hurt, like Roman personally slapped her.
"I'm telling the press, I'll tell everybody! Stupid Gay boy!" Sammi got up, and with a flourish, she left, leaving Roman in the silence, he pulled out his phone to text De.
Roman: your gf tried to sleep with me
Roman: and she found out I'm gay
Roman: and she's gonna tell everyone
De <3: What?
De<3: shit...
