"Welcome to my sweet sh- De!" Patton was cut off with a giggle, waving excitedly at her friend, De took quick notice of the bright pink bracelet on Pattons wrist, making a mental note to himself.
"Patton!" De said just as enthusiastically, walking to the counter and leaning against it, taking one of the cookie samples off the rack and nibbling in it slowly.
"What's my favorite kiddo doing here?" Patton asked, leaning on her folded hands, eyes sparkling with joy her ear rings dangling.
"Don't flatter me, we all know Virgil's your favorite." Before Patton could argues that she loved all her children equally De spoke again. "I have love problems."
"So you come to aromantic...?" Patton tilted her head. "You know I'm no good with that stuff."
"I know, but it seemed more like something you could help with." Patton nodded, encouraging De to contuine. "Romans back-" he was cut off by a gasp. "-And I signed up to do his makeup-" another gasp. "-and we went out to get drinks-" A more dramatic gasp that had De rolling his eyes. "-And he tried to kiss me."
"OHMYGOSHGOLLYPECKYOUTWOARE- Wait, tried?" Patton frowned, tilting her head again.
"I told him about Sami." Pattons face fell, a loud groan escaping.
"Well, even though me and Ro Never got along, he is my kiddo and you do love him, even if you deny it, soooo maybe have him and Sami meet? If anything they can be friends and you can have friends and-"
"I'm not in an open relationship."
"It was worth a shot!!" She sighed, groaning.
"Speaking of shots..." De checked his watch. "A shot of espresso is waiting for me, it was lovely to see you my amazing parental figure, but I must take my leave!" De bowed dramatically, taking Pattons hand and kissing it gently before leaving, he had a lot to think about, but half of Pattons Plan was good, he just had to change it a bit...
He took out his phone starting a new group chat
