New Friends and Enemies part 2

Science Class, 10:00 a.m.

Ophelia was in class and curiously saw Ruby tapping her index finger impatiently.

'Where's Mister Paavo?" Ruby asked.

A couple of more minutes passed by.

'I'm starting to get worried..." Ruby trailed off.

'Wow, I thought you were going to say he's late," Ophelia cut in, surprised.

'Late is an understatement..." A young woman with light brown skin and cocoa colored dreads said.

The young woman rolled her eyes.

'That's Jasemina, but we call her Jazz for short," Ruby said, sighing.

Ophelia waved at Jazz, Jazz rolled her eyes, smiled at waved back.

'Don't worry, I'm sure he'll be fine, He probably got caught up with wife again," A young Chinese girl said, trying to reassure Ruby.

'That's Amai, She's a Pisces, and I've known her since Kindergarten," Ruby explained.

'His Wife?" Ophelia asked.

'His Wife Ava, is a Sagittarius..." Ruby explained.

'Ever since they married the poor guy doesn't even know what mercy means," Jazz Joked.

I think it's because she just wants to be loved, I mean, what woman doesn't want to be loved?" Ruby nervously cut in.

Ruby grabbed her hair and played with it nervously.

'Is he washing his jacket or his goggles?" Ruby asked.

'Ruby, He's obviously late because he just doesn't know what a schedule is...No offense btw..." Jazz intervened.

'Is your teacher ALWAYS late like this?" Ophelia asked.

'Huh, Yeah...Which really get's on my nerves...Because when I'm in class, I wanna learn..." Jazz answered.

'Jazzy here is a Virgo," Ruby explained.

'Ooh, That makes sense," Ophelia said.

Ruby stopped playing with her hair and sighed, she got off the desk.

'I'm going to check on him," Ruby finally sighed.

Ruby left the classroom.

'You know, she's literally the first student I've met that actually cared about the teacher," Ophelia said out loud.

Ruby went to the men's bathroom near them and knocked the door.

'Mister Paavo? You alright?" Ruby asked.

Ruby could hear him groaning in pain....

'I'll take that as Constipation..." Ruby said, gravely.

Ruby went to the vending machine, put in two quarters, and grabbed the GingerAle when it fell.

She then rushed to the men's bathroom (No, she didn't go inside)
And just as Mr.Paavo opened the door she held it out.

Mister Paavo gave her a confused glanced but then smiled after a few seconds.

'Thanks, Miss Ruby, This helps alot," Mister Paavo said.

'No Problem! I didn't want you to feel like that all day," Ruby said in response.

There was a slight pause as he took a sip from the bottle.

'You have too much to eat this morning?" Ruby asked, concerned.
