Ruby struggled to flutter her eyes open and slowly sat up.
She looked to Jethro and smiled.
'Thank you Jethro," She thought.
She went to the Kitchen and made some Waffle Batter,She poured some in the waffle maker and was waiting until it toasted when she heard Jethro softly moan.
She sprinted towards him and suddenly hugged him,pulling him in by his shoulder and holding his head.
'You don't have to thank me you know," He said.
She jokingly signed:
'Tsundere"
'Very Funny," He Quipped.
He then took a pause...
'What's a Tsundere...?"
Ruby's eyes turned to Equal signs.
She signed:
'A Tsundere is an Anime Male or Female who initially has a cold exterior but on the inside has a warm,Lovey and nurturing side" She explained, signing.
'Ah," He Quipped.
She went back to check on the waffle and took it out, putting it on a plate.
'Uh, Question, How did your mother turn the lights off without flicking a switch!? Who's Alexa!? And is she the master of this house??" Jethro frantically asked.
'Jethro, That's 3 questions,
1.She used Alexa,
2. Alexa is an AI which is an Abbreviation for "Artificial Intelligence"
3.No, She is not the master of this house, That time, has a long, long time to come," Ruby signed to reassure Jethro.
Ruby took out another waffle and put it on a plate.
'Well, That's comforting," Jethro said in response.
Ruby put a butter square on both of them and gave them to Jethro.
'Oka-...Wait, What's this?" He asked.
'Waffles!" She sign-chirped.
'You made these for me?" He asked.
She happily nodded.
'I, I thank you, this is too much," He Modestly replied.
'Hey, You made sure I was Okay, It's the least I could do," She signed with sentiment.
She tooked the second waffle out for her plate and smiled, Leading him to the couch.
At School...
'Libby...I'm worried..." Breeze stated.
'Honey, I'm sure she's fine, She probably just overslept!" Libby chirped.
'But she NEVER oversleeps! She is ALWAYS hyperfocused on getting to school on time!" Breeze whisper-shouted.
'Well, That is concerning," Libby stated.
'Where is she...?" Breeze asked themselves.
'Breeze..." Libby trailed off.
'Can I hug you?" Libby asked.
Breeze sighed.
'Yes, You can hug me Libby..."
Libby stood up and hugged Breeze.
Breeze hesitantly hugged back.
'Please don't be sad..." Libby pleaded.
