Throughout the journey to Camp Lehigh, I was thinking about Steve. A part of me is happy that he finally got an opportunity to serve his country. The other part was worried about his survival in such a cold and dangerous environment. Nonetheless, I knew that everything would work out fine. After all, Dr.Erskine have already chosen him as the perfect candidate for Project Rebirth. If this works, if the project becomes successful, Steve's life will be changed. The world will be changed.

When I arrived at the camp, I was introduced to Colonel Philips and Agent Carter. Since, I was to assist Dr.Erksine, I was given a personal responsibility of keeping an eye on Steve which made me feel relieved.

Agent Carter and I walked to the training ground to meet the new recruits.

"Gentlemen, I am Agent Carter. I supervise all the operations for this division." Carter said and gestured me to introduce myself.

"I am Teresa Stark. I am here to oversee your progress in your training."

One of the new recruit starts to act cocky and commented. "What's with the accent, Queen Victoria? Thought I was signing up for the US army."

"What's your name soldier?" Carter asked.

Proudly he says, "Gilmore Hodge, Your Majesty." and smirks.

Carter orders him to step forward slightly annoyed by his cocky attitude.

I look at the list of names I was holding and found that he was one of the best in the group. In a moment I see Agent Carter throwing a punch on his face for commenting with that cocky attitude. I smirked as I saw him falling flat on the ground as Carter gets back to her posture.

"Agent Carter! Ms. Stark!" Colonel Philips calls out behind us and we all turned to face him. Agent Carter salutes him as she responds back and I returned a nod instead.

"I can see that you are breaking in the new candidates. That's good! Get your ass up from that dirt and stand in line until somebody comes and tells you what to do." Colonel orders as he walk to face the new recruits.

"Yes sir!" Hodge responds.

Colonel continues to give his speech. "General fact, has it wars are fought with weapons but they are won by men. We are going to win this war because we have the best....men." his speech and expression slightly tones down as soon as he sees Steve and gives a look to Dr.Erksine who was now standing beside me.

I notice Steve standing in the line as well and gives him a smile. His face brightens up and blinks in acknowledgment.

Colonel continues to speak, "And because they are gonna get better. MUCH BETTER. The Strategic Scientific Reserve is an ally effort made up with the best minds in the free world. Our goal is to create the best army in the history. But every army starts with one man. At the end of two weeks, we will choose that one man to lead the new breed of The Super Soldier and personally escort Hitler to the gates of Hell. Now, Agent Carter will provide you orders for your training."

He looks at us all and then walks out. Dr. Erskine instructs me to pay special attention on Steve's performance and record every possible detail I could.

As the recruits start their training throughout the whole week, I noticed that Hodge would purposely bully Steve. Most of the time Agent Carter and I would call him out and discipline him and his sidekicks with double rounds of training. Seeing him bullying Steve makes me go nuts. I am glad that he would come to me and let me treat his wounds which leads to late night chats.

I feel happy that Steve and I are bonding with each other more and sometimes I would feel insecure of Agent Carter. It's not that Steve and I are together, but I am afraid she might take him away from me.
