Steve's point of view:

I blinked my eyes several times trying to open them but was blinded by a bright light.

I could hear some indistinct chatter in the background.

"Curve ball, high and outside for ball one."

"So the Dodgers are tied, 4-4."

"And the crows well knows that with one swing of his bat, this fellow's capable of making it a brand-new game again."

What is going on?

I have been to this game. Bucky and I attended this game.

"Just an absolutely gorgeous day here at Ebbets Field. The Phillies have managed to tie it up at 4-4."

I looked around and sat up on the bed as I continued to listen to the radio.

"Wouldn't the youngster like a hit here to return the favour?"

"Pete leans in, Here's the pitch."

I could hear the traffic noise outside which caught my attention. I scanned the room and everything looked so calm.

"Three runs will score." I heard the cheering from the radio.

"Reiser heads to third. Durocher's going to wave him in."

"Here comes the relay, but they won't get him."

I know this. I know what is going to happen in this game. How is this possible?

My thoughts were interrupted when a lady walked in.

She smiled and greeted, "Good Morning."

"Or should I say afternoon?" she said as she looked at her watch.

Something is not right!

"Where am I?" I asked her.

"You're in a recovery room in New York City." she said.

"The Dodgers take the lead, 8-4. Oh, Dodgers!" the radio recited.

I looked outside of the window trying to make sense as I continued to listen to the radio.

I knew what was going to happen in the game. I thought to myself.

"Where am I really?" I asked firmly looking straight into her eyes.

She smiled nervously and nodded her head, "I'm afraid I don't understand."

"The game. It's from May 1941. I know, 'cause I was there." I told her.

She looked scared immediately as her smiled faded away.

I stood up and walked towards her. "Now, I'm going to ask you again. Where am I?"

She gulped and tightened her wrist, "Captain Rogers.." getting intimidated.

I demanded, "Who are you?"

Just then two guys dressed in black walked in holding their guns.

I managed to knock them out against the wall.

As I walked passed the wall, I looked around. Wait, thats not a wall.

I realized I was in a locked room.

The woman called out "Captain Rogers, wait!"

I didn't care as I ran out of the room. I needed to find Teresa. Where is she? Is she safe?

As I came out of the room I ran across the hallway and stopped at my tracks.

I did not recognize where I was and I heard the voice of the same woman saying, "All agents code 13!"

Right then everybody around me started to chase me. I ran towards the exit as fast I could.

I need to get out and find Teresa.

I got out of the building and saw so many cars moving as I continued to run across the street.

I stopped my tracks when I saw so many lights and tv screens around me. There were so many people everywhere and traffic noise. Tall buildings surrounded everywhere. It was a busy scene. Where am I?

I looked around trying to understand what is happening when a couple of modern-looking cars stopped in front of me. The soldiers dressed in black came out of the cars and surrounded me.

"At ease, soldier!" I heard someone say and I turned to look at who it was.

A man with an eye patch in his left eye dressed in complete black stood calmly in front of me.

Why is everyone dressed in black?

The man approached me as I continued to breathe heavily.

I don't recognize this man. Who is he?

"Look, I'm sorry about that little show back there, but we thought it best to break it to you slowly." he said looking straight into my eyes.

"Break what?"  I asked.

He took a pause and revealed, "You've been asleep, Cap."

"For almost 70 years."

Wait what? How is this possible? Is this how the future looks like?

The man looked at me sadly waiting for my response.

I took a deep breathe and looked around me still trying to process what is happening to me.

"You gonna be okay?" he asked.

"Yeah. Teresa. Where is Teresa?" I asked.

He looked down and sighed.

Please don't tell me that she..

He then looked at me and said, "Let me take you somewhere."

Somewhere? where? Is she alright or is she dead?  She was with me when we buried the plane. Please tell me that she is alive.

I entered into the car and let the man take me to where he wanted me to go.
