We have been travelling several places for the past few weeks, promoting bonds among the high end people. Steve have been performing shows and attending meetings continuously to increase the publicity. As we stood at the backstage in Italy, I was straightening Steve's sleeve and he continues to breathe heavily with nervousness.

"I am not sure I can do this still." Steve says with a deep sigh.

"You will be great, Steve. Just like you have been doing." I encouraged him with a smile.

"This is not what I had imagined of serving my country." Steve says with a little annoyance.

"I know Steve. This is not that bad as it seems." I replied.

"I want to be in action. Not become a puppet who entertains people." Steve says as he walks out to the stage.

He is really upset. I thought.
As I walk outside of the backstage, I decided to call Howard and ask if Steve and I could help in his end. I need to take Steve out of this. He is right, he is becoming more of a puppet than a man. Dr.Erksine would be so mad if he saw this.

Hearing the phone ringing, I thought nervously how to persuade my brother.

"Hey Sweetie" Howard says as soon as he picks up the call.

I hear banging sounds on the other line assuming he must be building something.

"Hey brother, how are you doing?" I ask.

"I am doing perfectly fine, sis. You? How are you feeling now?" He says, almost yelling from all those background noise.

"I am doing great. Uh, I want to ask you something bro." I ask nervously knowing he might reject what I am going to say.

"What is it?" He replies worriedly.

"Can Steve and I come over to your end and help out? I think Steve and I had enough with all of his stupid shows of entertainment. We can do so much more out there." I explained.

"Absolutely not Teresa. It's dangerous out here and you are more safe there. We had a deal." Howard says with determinedly.

"Please Howard. I will be fine. You know that I can beat your ass anytime. Plus, I will be more safe by staying near you and Steve together. Come on. Can you do this for me please?" I ask as I bite my nails.

After a long dreadful silence, my brother gives in,"You won't stop until I give in right? Alright. I am sending a ride to you."

"Thank you brother. See you soon. Love you." I  said giving him a virtual kiss.

He chuckled, "Love you too sweetie. Don't drool over on the Star Spangled Man on your way here."

"Whatever." I chuckled and ended the call.

Feeling excited to share this good news to Steve, I headed back to the backstage.

Upon learning that it will take another few more hours to wrap up the show, I decided to head to our hotel to pack for our upcoming trip and then deliver the good news to Steve.

As I was packing up my things, I heard some noises outside my hotel room. Curiously, I opened the door to see what it was and found no one in the hallway.

Weird. I thought. I swear I heard some noise. I closed the door and walked back towards my bed where my suitcase was laid on.

I heard another thump sound which alerted me cautiously. Quietly, I took the gun that was on the table and headed towards the door. Stealthily and slowly I opened the door and found no one again in the hallway.
My instincts told me that something is wrong so I studied the hallway. Suddenly, gun shots were getting fired at me and instantly I closed the door to block them. Nervously, I started to think of ways of how to get out of this situation knowing that someone is trying to kill me.

The door of my room breaks open and I was getting fired at. Quickly I flipped my bed to make it as a shield to dodge those bullets.

I continue to shoot at those intruders one by one with my shooting skills. However, the last guy jumps at me from behind causing me to fall on the floor. I stood up on my feet and fought one on one combat against him.

After several hit against the furnitures and the floor, breaking glasses and mirrors, I managed to knock him out with a hard blow on his head.

Breathlessly, I sat on the floor to regain my strength I looked around my messed up hotel room and called the hotel manager knowing that I needed medical assistance for my injuries which included a terrible bruised cheek and knees, cuts on my back and arms, and a deep cut on my forehead with a bleeding lip.
