I didn't pay ay attention to Johnny whatsoever. I started to put my binders in my locker in the order of my schedule, to make it easier between class periods. I had a few pictures to put in my locker.

I hung a picture of mackenzie and I on the inside of the door of my locker. i put the tape on the top shelf in my locker.
out of the corner of my eye, i saw johnny staring at me.
johnny: "hey maddie".
maddie: "oh hey, Johnny".
johnny: "how have you been?".
maddie: "i'm good, how are you?".
i asked turning around, glancing at him.
johnny: " I'm okay".
he put his phone in his locker.
molly: "sorry johnny but I have to get to class, i'll see you around".
I grabbed my phone and closed my locker.
johnny: "alright, see you around".
usually, johnny would curse me out and tell me how awful of a person i was but he didn't do that. i'm surprised.
i looked down at my schedule in my hand, i have english. i turned around the corner and saw lauren orlando standing against a wall, looking down at her phone.
lauren: "hey mads".
she looked up from her phone.
maddie: "hey lolo".
she put her phone into the back pocket of her jeans.
lauren: "what's your first class?".
she picked her binder and pencil case up from the floor.
maddie: "english, what's yours?".
lauren: "english, let's go. we have a lot to catch up on".
she grabbed my arm and yanked me in the direction of the english classrooms.
maddie: "I bet we do lauren".
i chuckled.
we walked into the classroom and sat in the back row. the teacher was rambling about class expectations for the course of the year and I didn't pay any attention to any of it, either did lauren. it was boring so I took my phone out of my pocket and texted mackenzie to see how's she's doing.

seriously? Did he say anything to you?

I wonder what is going to happen in lunch. I thought to myself as I put my phone back in my pocket and pretend to pay attention to what every the teacher was talking about.

7th period rolled around very slowly and I was very excited to see the rest of my friends.
I walked into the cafeteria and got in line for food. After I got my food, I looked around for a table to sit at. I sat at a table with mackenzie, annie, ruby, lauren, and jayden. We all caught up with each other the entire lunch period.
After 9th period was over I made my way over to my locker and opened it. a note fell out.
