mackenzie's pov-

doctor: "alright mackenzie, we have some good news and bad news".

mackenzie: "good news first please".

doctor: "the good news is that your knee will heal fully, but the bad news is that it's fractured so your going to be on crutches for a couple of weeks".

mackenzie: "okay".

\a hour later at loren's house/

loren: "kenz what are you going to do tomorrow?".

mackenzie: "i dont know. lauren, and kayla will help me get to my classes all day long. loren you're going to be 'friends with johnny' so that means he can't see us talking to each other".

loren: "k. Let's get some sleep goodnight guy's".

mackenzie: "night".

johnny's pov-

What happened back at the bridge was me and mackenzie went underwater and I swam away as fast as I could. I think she got injured but I guess I'll find out tomorrow at school. I should probably get some sleep now.

\the next morning/

I got dressed and drove to school. I walked into french and loren was sitting by herself. After the teacher collected everyone's bell work the classroom door opened. kayla was holding the door while mackenzie walked in with crutches and lauren was holding her stuff. Did I do this?
Did I put mackenzie on crutches?

I'm going to asked loren in a couple of minutes.

The teacher is making us do a mini project so.

johnny: "loren do you want to be my partner?"

loren: "sure".

She came over and pulled a desk right up to mine. Now is my chance to ask her.

johnny: *whispers* "did I put mackenzie on crutches?"

loren "yeah... her knee is fractured".

johnny: "oh my god..."

loren: "yeah".

johnny: "how long is she on crutches?"

loren: "the doctor said a few weeks at least".

johnny: "I kinda feel bad that I did that to her".

loren: "she honestly doesn't care".

Me and loren were talking about the project when I saw mackenzie and kayla get up and leave.

johnny: "can I go to the bathroom?"

teacher: "sure, don't take too long".

I walked out in the hallway and looked for mackenzie. She was going towards the elevator. I had to run to catch up to her. She is still fast on crutches dang.

johnny: "mackenzie wait up!"

mackenzie: "johnny, leave me alone!"

mackenzie's pov-

johnny stepped in front of me so he could get my attention.

mackenzie: "this better be important orlando!"

johnny: "mackenzie...I.."
