Chapter 1: Pilot Part 1

Maya's POV

We just got in the Hospital. They dressed me in a black sweater with a tank top underneath and gray leggings. And makeup, I did a natural look. They did some tests on Ollie and I. I stand next to Ollie and stare out the big window to face the city. He looks at me and smiles I return the smile back and we hold each others hands. I place my head on his shoulder and he kisses my forehead. Then I hear the door open, I'm assuming it's mom. "Oliver, Maya." Mom calls. I take my head off of Ollie's shoulder and we turn around to see mom standing in front of us.  "Mom." Ollie and I say at the same time with a smile on ours faces and teary eyes. We usually say things at the same time. We separate our hands and mom walks towards us and hugs us. I feel so safe in her arms, the same feeling I get when I'm in Ollie's. "Oh, my beautiful twins." mom says. I try to hold back tears.

I dress in formal wear. I pick out a red dress with a sparkly belt on my waist and black heels. Ollie and I place our wooden trunks with our equipment and clothes in the back of a car. I get in the car with Ollie and mom. We finally reach our house. I get out and head for the back to get my stuff. A security guard beat me to it. He opens the back of the car and touches both of the wooden trunks. Before I could do anything Ollie stopped him. "I've got it." Ollie says and picks up the two trunks and looks at me and hands mine to me. 

We get in our house. It's just how I remember it to be. "Your rooms are exactly how you two left them. I've never had the heart to change either of them." Mom says. "Oliver, Maya." A male voice calls. I turn to see Walter. He worked for our dad. Ollie and I place our trunks down. "It's damn good to see you two." Walter says with a smile. I return the smile. I look over to Ollie and he's not smiling. I'm guessing Walter and mom also see that. "It's Walter." Walter says to Ollie. Walter and Ollie shake hands, Then he turns to me. I also shake his hand. "You two remember Walter. Your father's friend from the company." Mom says. Then a women in a maid outfit enters the room. I remember her, Raisa. Ollie and I look at her and we walk towards her. "Good to see you Raisa." Ollie says. "We missed you." I say with a smile. "Welcome come Mr. Oliver, Ms. Maya." she says while smiling. "Mr. Merlyn phoned. He wants to join the dinner." Raisa says to mom and Walter. "Wonderful." mom says.

 I hear someone walking downstairs. I look up. So does Ollie. We walk towards the stairs. Then I see Thea. Our little sister. "Hey sis." Ollie says. "Speedy." I say with a smile. Thea takes a second to process this and walks down the stairs. "I knew it, I knew you two were alive." she says and hugs us both. "I missed you two so much." Thea says. "We missed you to Speedy." I say. She pulls away. "You know I hate that name." she says and hits my shoulder playfully. "But I'll always call you that." I say and smile.

I walk into my room. Mom wasn't lying, it's the same. I take a quick shower and quickly dry off and put a towel around myself and go inside my closet. I pick out a red crop top and some black shorts. For boots I pick out some black ankle boots with heels. And I put on matching makeup. I go downstairs to meet Ollie and Tommy. I smile at him. "Tommy." I say and walk towards him and hug him. "I missed you M." Tommy says. I pull away. "As did I." I say. "Where is my hug?" Ollie says. I roll my eyes at him. "Fine." I say and hug him. 

*At the dinner*

I sit in between Ollie and Tommy. "Ok what have the twins missed? Super bowl winners, Giants, Steelers, Saints, Packers, Giants again." Tommy says. I smile. I'm obviously not interested, but I listen to him. "Oh and "Lost" they are all dead I think." Tommy continues. I see Ollie looking at Walter and Mom. "What was it like there?" Thea asks. It turn silent. You could hear a pin drop. "Cold." Ollie says. I nod. "Tomorrow you two and me, we're are visiting the city. You've got a lot to catch up on." Tommy says. "That sounds like a great idea." mom adds. "Good, then we were wondering if we good swing by the office." I say. "Well there's plenty time for that. Queen Consolidated isn't going anywhere. " Walter says. Then Raisa trips between Ollie and I. I catch the bowl and Ollie catches the pears that Raisa was holding. "Oh I am so sorry Mr. Oliver and Ms.Maya." Raisa apologizes . Damn things are getting awkward already. "I didn't say anything." Thea says. "You didn't have to." Ollie says. "Oliver, Maya. Walter and I are married now and I don't want you two to think that either one of us did anything to disrespect your father." Mom says. Sometimes Ollie can take things hard. Like me, but I keep my emotions in. I can literally feel him hurt by those words. "It's fine." Ollie says. "May I be excused?" He asks. Mom nods and he goes off upstairs. "M you should probably you with him. Take care of him." mom says. I nod and leave to find Ollie upstairs in his room. I knock. "Come in M." he says. I walk in and close the door behind me. I walk towards him and sit down next to him on his bed. "You know coming back here was gonna be different." I say. He stays silent. "We have changed and so did they. We both know this was gonna happen eventually." I continue. "I know, but...it's still hard." he says and looks up at me. "I know it is. But we have each other." I say. I hug him and he hugs me back.

It's the next day. I see Ollie and Tommy exit Thea's room. I follow them and Tommy and Ollie smile at me. "Hey have you noticed how hot both of your sisters have gotten?It's not like M wasn't hot before, but now she's more. And Thea." Tommy says, and Ollie glares at him. "Cause I have not." he continues. I chuckle at that. 

*In the car*

"Your funerals blew." Tommy says. "Did you get lucky?" I ask. "Fish in a barrel." he says and Ollie and I both chuckle. "They were so sad and huggy-" Tommy says. "Nooo." Ollie complains. "And I am counting on another target rich environment for both of your welcome home bash." Tommy says and Ollie and I look at him confused. "At our what?" Ollie asks. "You two came back from the dead. This calls for a party. You two tell me where and when, I'll take care of everything." Tommy says excited. I smile. We pull over. "This city has gone to crap. You know your dad sold his factory just in time. And did you two wanna drive through this neighborhood anyway?" Tommy asks us. Ollie and I stare out the window to a old Queen's warehouse. "No reason." I say. "So what did you two miss most? steaks at the palm, drinks at the station? Meaningless sex?" he asks. "Probably drinking and partying." I say. He turns to me and smiles. "Of course you did." he says and turns back to Ollie. "Laurel." Ollie says. And mood drops. Why Laurel? She's not gonna want to see him or me. "Everyone is happy you two are alive. You wanna see the one person who isn't?" Tommy asks. Before Ollie could speak I defended him. "If Ollie wants to goes see Laurel, let him see her," I say with a sigh.

Tommy and I are waiting for Ollie and Laurel to end their conversation. Then I see Laurel storming off our way, She stops to look at me then she looks at Tommy. "How do you think that was gonna go Tommy?" She asks him and runs off. "Like that." he says under his breath. 

We then went into an alley where we parked the car. "Ok. Now that we are done with that. Good call. Now we can make up for lost time." Tommy says. "If you two are not sick of fish I suggest we eat sushi all day." Tommy continues. Then a truck comes in behind us. "What the hell." Tommy says and he gets shot with a tranquilizer. Ollie and I look at each other , but we have no time to react when all I see is black.
