Chapter 9: Muse of Fire part 2

I then see a black car parking near us. "Salvati's here." I say. Ollie hangs up and we run to the base to get our gear. 

*Base*

I start to collect my dagger and head outside, but Ollie softly pushes me back. "What is it?" I ask annoyed. 

"I need to show you something...about Cody." Ollie says. 

I roll my eyes. "Ollie, what do you have against him?" 

He doesn't say anything he just heads to the computer and pulls up Cody's records. "What's  the point of this? We have more important things to deal with." I say. 

"I had a chat with Cody and put a tracker on him." Ollie says. 

"Oliver! Seriously?" I scold. 

"M, just look at this." Ollie says at points to something on the screen.

I look where he is pointing. Cody has been to an abandoned warehouse 4 times today. "Oliver, this doesn't mean anything. He could just be there to...I don't know have some private time." I say. 

"Then how about this." Ollie says and pulls up a camera footage in that exact warehouse. It shows Cody with four other guys who seem to be dealing weapons to him. 

"Maya, put the pieces together." Ollie raises his voice a little. 

 I honestly don't know what to say. So, I just go back to our original focus. "Let's go, I thought we were focusing on Salvati." I say and go without another word. 

*Russo's*

We get in the place and we already hear bickering. "Going to what? Restock your bar?" Salvati asks as he pushes bottles of alcohol on the floor and they shatter. "Break his fingers." Salvati orders. 

"Leave him alone!" A woman yells. 

"Break hers too." Salvati orders. 

"No, don't touch her!" A man yells who sounds to be Mr. Russo, the owner of this Restaurant.  

I've had enough and throw one of my mini knives at the light switch turning the lights off. Ollie and I jump down. 

"That's not how you talk to a lady." I say and start to attack two guards while Ollie attacks the other two.

 I break one's arm and then kick the other guard in the gut pushing him backwards. The other guard punches me in the face which causes me to stumble backwards a little. I quickly recover and trip both of them before I could do any more damage a person wearing a motorcycle helmet shoots the two guards.

 Ollie then attacks the unknown person while I take down the last two remaining guards. "I honestly just want to go home, so..." I say and just hold them in a headlock until they fall unconscious. 

I then go and help Ollie with the mystery person, but right when I was going to something Ollie takes the helmet off and...Helena? She then runs away. 

*Base*

Ollie, Diggle, and I are in the base. I'm sitting on a chair next to Diggle. "I don't understand." Ollie says. "Why is she targeting her own family?"

"I don't know. And here I thought you two had parental issues." Diggle says. 

"It's not a joke Diggle." Ollie says. 

I'm just here thinking to myself about the whole Cody situation, I've known Cody for a long time. Yes, he's a player and a bad boy type. But, he'd never...would he? I then get snapped out of my thoughts by Diggle. 

"Oliver, this girl shot your mother. She also murdered two people in cold blood." Diggle says. I look at Ollie and he has this look he use to have with Laurel. Oh god, he's seriously falling in love with Helena?
