"Kara are you good there? You look lost in thought."

"Oh yes I'm fine, just enjoying this weather."

Oh yeah don't forget the many times I've been to other Earths and I time traveled once. For the first time in my life I have lived longer outside the Phantom Zone than I've been in it. I was literally frozen in time!

Kara puts on a nice wide smile. Lena turns her head to the monument behind them that she built. "The Girl of Steel, it's such a stunning piece of art. I'm glad I added it to the park. It adds character to the city." Kara looks over in awe of the piece. She had never gotten a good look at it before, during that time she was putting so much time into being Supergirl she lost touch with her humanity. And it's kinda hard to look at it when you're fighting a giant, terrorizing submarine. "Yes! It's an amazing statue, I'm sure the Girl of Steel herself heavily appreciates it."

"I just hope it doesn't feed her ego. I can't imagine all of that power put into one individual. I did some calculations on that submarine, it was over 48,000 tons! One of the largest submarines ever built and she lifted it up like it was a paper weight." Kara once again does her awkward cover up. "Pfft, yeah that's crazy." Lena butts in, "You don't understand that's like holding multiple planes at once, it's one of her greatest feats."

"There was that time she moved Fort Rozz and launched it into space!" Kara senses the tension in Lena and stops. "I'm sorry, you know at least that strength is in good hands, protecting people like us." Lena thinks to herself for a moment as Kara looks at her face. "Has she ever saved you, Kara?" Kara looks dumbfounded and tries to come up with a plausible time, but fails.

"No, not personally. Just all the times she's saved the city." Lena looks deep into the blondes eyes, and sits up. Kara sits up as well. Oh Rao, has she figured it out. Did that give it all away? "Kara if I had the Godly powers that she has I would spent every moment trying to protect you." Kara is thoroughly confused now. "Oh geez, that's so sweet Lena. But you have already saved me enough times. More than you will ever know." Lena catches her own romantic forcefulness and stands up to escape her sappy pursuits.

"We should probably get walking it looks like a storm is coming in from the shore." The pair walks a few blocks to the bank, picking up some umbrellas for the walk home. Kara thinks of the interaction with Lena on the walk as droplets begin to fall.

Lena is so protective over me, but it's different than how Mon-El was. She doesn't know that I'm capable of putting myself into danger but still trusts that I can take care of myself. Even if it's the clumsy, soft human Kara she thinks I am. Mon-El didn't want me going into danger even when he knew I could crush mountains with my bare hands and take out super villains. Lena cares and understands me so much more even when she doesn't know the full truth. She trusts me more than anyone else on this planet.

"Ladies first." Lena gestures to Kara to enter the spinning door way. They both go through together pushing the revolving door in unison. "Woah this place is beautiful." Kara looks around the elegantly detailed marble bank. The city doesn't mess around with money. The place is covered in decorations and gold plating. "Kara I'm going into one of the offices, wait out here." Kara sits down in the waiting area.

Sound proof walls, too bad it's sound proof just to humans.

Kara eavesdrops on the transaction. It's just Lena turning in the will and having it put into her bank account. Forty-nine billion dollars!! No way! All for that no good son of a— bad Kara no swearing Kara. A short while passes and Lena comes out of the office and into the lobby. Kara notices the distress on Lenas face and grabs onto her arm as they walk out the door.
