i've been gone for like 2 months and i really want to finish up this fic, i want to leave it somewhere where it's ok to leave it off so i can continue it some other time. i really REALLY want to make a bunch of other supercorp fictions. i've had so many idea's pop into my mind from watching season 5A and the start of crisis. i want to finish this fic with kara saving the world from some villain with her new sun god powers but i guess i'll just leave it like this for now. i want to create some new supercorp content and i think writing again will give me inspiration on how to properly end/continue this fic. it bothers me that i have left it hanging for so long, this is a promise that i'll continue it properly :) so stay in tuned for another fic to be published bc i want to write some sorta short fics ya know? it will be cool. and this one can potentially be a long on going fic. i have a lot of time this winter break so yeah.

Kara looks out of the car window as Lena drives quietly, watching the city. A song is playing that she's never heard before but it is calming. it's a bit staticky but she can still make out what's being sung with her super hearing. the engine of the car hums in her ear as well, but suddenly something much louder can be heard.

It's the sea.

Kara recognizes the powerful sounds of the oceans waves. Like cymbal crashes during an orchestral overture. It's delightful in all of its glory.

"We are almost there aren't we? I can hear the ocean already." Kara mindlessly asks while still looking out of the window. there's no sign of the sea but she still asks.

"We are a few miles away. I can't believe you can hear it, that's amazing." Lena ponders what else Kara can hear with her super hearing.

Is she listening to how hard my heart is pounding right now? Can she hear how nervous I am for what ever may happen once we get out of this car.

'Are you nervous?' Lena can't help but fear this statement, she doesn't know how to respond if Kara were to ask it. Now thinking about it makes her heart beat even faster. But something unexpected happens, Kara reaches her hand out and gently grabs the driver's right hand. Kara softly places the shaking hand on her lap to soothe Lena's anxiety. She doesn't question why Lena is scared, all she does is comfort her.

Lena's heart is still beating fast but in a different way because of Kara comforting her.

They roll into the pond driveway into the beach house.

"Lena, you said this was a beach house... this is no beach house this is a beach mansion." Kara looks up in awe at the sheer size of this 'beach house.'

"Oh this? This is hardly anything, I bought it for only twelve million a few years back." Lena says this nonchalantly, as if it's like a cheap pair of shoes she has bought.

Kara exits out of the car and walks up to the front door. The architecture is phenomenal. Kara is definitely impressed by the beach house. Lena pulls out her key chain and unlocks the door. If the outside wasn't mesmerizing the inside certainly is. Kara looks around from the entrance, taking in all of its beauty.

"Do you like it?" Lena says this as she looks at the astonished girl in front of her.

"Do I like it? This place is wonderful and huge." Kara is unsure of taking a step forward unless Lena does so as well.

"You can take a look around if you'd— like." Before she can finish her sentence a burst of air hits her face because the Kryptonian has sped her way into every nook and cranny in the entire building. She can see a blur every few milliseconds until she finds that the blur has come to a stop at the corner area with the view of the ocean.
