Comfort

-Izuku's POV-

I watched as 'my real father' left. He acted weird and it made me uncomfortable. I sighed in relief as the front door closed, leaving me and dad. I turned to look at dad and he had a victorious smirk on his face. I smiled and hugged him, he seemed a little startled at first but hugged me back. I know a lot of people who would call my dad an 'emotionless rock' but he shows many emotions when he is near me. I still have that meeting with my real father in my head and I just want to clear my thoughts. "I'm going for a walk.", I spoke breaking the silence between us. I broke out of the hug and put on my shoes. I was about to walk out when dad said, "Aren't you forgetting something?" I turned back to look at him and he looked annoyed. "I-I...l-love you....bye" I said and looked down in embarrassment. I opened the door and before I could leave, I saw Kurshi rubbing against my leg. I picked her up and walked outside.

-No one's POV-

Izuku walked to a nearby park which he had visited when he was little. He sat on a bench while petting Kurshi. A few minutes passed and Izuku was deep in thought. Suddenly he felt something touch his shoulder and immediately turned around to find purple hair and tired eyes. " Toshi?" Izuku said under his breath. Blush slightly dusted on Shinso's cheeks from the cute nickname Izuku gave him. Izuku smiled at the sight of his friend and gestured him to sit down. Shinso hesitantly sat down next to Izuku. The atmosphere was filled with calming silence and the occasional meows of Kurshi. Shinso was fighting the urge to pet the small cat, Izuku caught notice of this and handed Kurshi to Shinso. Shinso took the cat and cuddled with it. Izuku smiled at them and looked at the ground. Shinso noticed his behavior and asked him what was bothering him. Izuku looked up Shinso and bit his lip, "n-nothing." Izuku said and smiled at Shinso.

-Shinso's POV-
(Oof I love my sleepy boi)

'I've made mistakes' Was the first thought that came to my head when I sat down next to Midoriya. Everything was quiet until I heard meows. I looked at Midoriya's lap and saw a small cat.

'Oh no...'

I was fighting back then urge to just take the cat from Midoriya's hands until he just handed the cat to me.

'YES THANK THE GODS'

I smiled as I pet the small, plump cat.
I looked over to Midoriya to find him looking a bit down, "Hey what's on your mind?" I asked a bit concerned.
"N-nothing" I heard him say quietly. He is a terrible lier....

I sighed and thought of ways I could make him feel a bit better. I thought of something and bit my lip. 'If it's the only way to make him happy' I thought.
I hugged Izuku tightly and he gasped out of surprise.

-No one's POV-

Shinso hugged Izuku as if he was gonna dissapear. Izuku hugged Shinso back and nuzzled his face into Shinso's chest. Izuku felt comfortable and at peace in this hug. Sure, Aizawa had always been there to comfort Izuku....but this felt different. Izuku's face burned and had a warm feeling in his chest. He loved this type of comfort and wanted more.

Izuku and Shinso said their goodbyes and went different ways. Izuku walked home with Kurshi in his arms. When he entered the apartment he was greeted by an angry Aizawa.

"So, who was this boy you were hugging?" Aizawa asked with jealousy in his voice. Izuku froze at his father's words. The only thing that was repeating in Izuku's head was 'Oh no...'
